According to my timeline there won't be much time for Chainlink to dump a lot. Of course there will be ups and downs but I'm talking 30% or more.
August will be the month of the ETF speculation which is going on right now but when the 10th rolls around I think there will be a lot of price action for BTC. Then probably a massive news P&D if there is news. If not, BTC will shit itself a little and go to 7k. If there is nothing happening with LINK in that time I think it will generally suffer and go down sub 0.30$ as all altcoins lose attention and BTC speculation is at its maximum.
In late August speculation about the mainnet will start though and it will get bigger and bigger by the day as September approaches. September has been a key time-span in Jow Forums sperg speculation and detective work on github etc... I believe this will pump LINK quite a bit as believing daytraders will consolidate their sats and reallocate a huge portion into LINK. During September the price will rise and depending on the news (mainnet or more waiting) we'll have really volatile but generally upward momentum. (1/2)
Can't really say much about post-September as it really depends on the progress and the news about the mainnet. Remember though, in the meantime anything could happen. Partnerships could pop up out of nowhere, first marketing moves could be deployed and of course random whale action could pump or dump it as there's always that risk too.
Provided no random news/announcements/crypto hassle, this is my game plan: I believe the best entry (of course best case was 17-20 cents the last couple of days) from now on will be during the coming 2-3 weeks as the focus will shift to Bitcoin and the ETF decisions. Even if there isn't a decision, speculation and the reaction to a decision/non-decision will shake up the market. I aim for a 0.23-0.25$ bottom in this time-frame that was kind of established between the time of the new website release and the Accord news.
Everything shows that it will be around $7-$12 when the first surge happens. If it really works with api fed contract we can realistically be looking at $35-$40 within the next 6 months. I think it will hover around what it is for a few weeks, maybe drop back to $0.30. A lot of it still depends on Bitcoin, and it it dumps it will likely bring all alts with it, at least to some degree. But I have a feeling there'll be more LINK news in late August or by the end of September. Also there's a big Bitcoin ETF decision on September 21 (though it could be delayed again) which could affect BTC price.

Tbh don’t try to haggle for price. The team is unpredictable and so are partnership announcements (like we saw with Accord yesterday). DCAing and holding is the best option.
I think we’ll see $5-10 EOY if everything goes well. Bitcoin should have completely bottomed by the end of December, so that’s when we’ll likely see consistent gains again.
I’ve heard from a few “”””””””inside sources”””””””” to expect $150+ by EOY 2019 and a big partnership announcement in September (I’m guessing salesforce or docusign but who knows). Everything will reveal itself in due time. I’m planning on leaving Jow Forums for the month of August, I think it’s the healthiest option in the midst of this FUD shitstorm

Bunch of 4channers tried to force it as /ourcoin/, during the presale ico phase of chainlink there was a minimum requirement of 300eth to enter the presale. Bunch of anons pooled up together and shared presale links to fill them with their eth.
Coin continued to get shilled and pumped up and hyped for the sibios event that link was attended, whole event turned out to be a flop chainlink had a presentation in a room of like 18 people next to the public toilets, literally no news or partnership came from the event and the coin dumped back to below ico prices and created 1000's of bagholder anons.
Now during this alt bull run lots of anons and took advantage of this and shilling this coin to all the new money and newfags that joined in december and don't know this story.
The coin is HEAVILY manipulated and the supply is dried up from huge whales who accumulated below ICO price to create a artificially lower supply (a lot like REQ) and these people have so much room to dump on all of you faggots to still be in profit when the time comes.
In regards to actual project that chainlink aiming to achieve it's nothing more than a basic json parser for smart contracts, would take like a day to add to ethereum by itself.. literally making links whole concept pointless and definitely no need for a token. Would take a lot longer to get it working with bitcoin but the bitcoin core devs would be able to work out the solution a lot quicker than chainlink will, think that's something worth noting that literally nothing is completed and you're literally just buying a whitepaper, they have only 2 developers and they don't communicate at all with no proven background on either, in fact sergey was involved in a project before chainlink called NxT that he since been abandoned until it was took over by a new developer team
