0.5 Liter Amstel Draft = 3.25 JOD = $4.5

i had a free vietnamese lunch at the schools canteen
Sushi set and some cocktails.
Costed $15 but it was a good amount of sushi and had a lot of fish
sounds great homie. Don't feel bad about the cost any sushi cheaper than that would be not good news
Souvlaki, water. 3 euro
>Souvlaki
Do u call it that just so you dont call it kebab :3
Yeah it was really good, a brand new restaurant here in Lviv called wabi sabi. Actually their prices were low compared to other restaurants, about $5 per roll
By the way what is your opinion on kibbeh?
there’s archaeological proof they invented it
>kibbeh
Restaurant kibbeh that you get in Europe is shit tier that I wouldn't feed to my dog,
Real Syrian kibbeh (when made with local meat and we add fried pine nuts and stuff) is amazing
I made some soba noodles with tomato sauce.
About $2.5 CAD ($1.9 USD, 1.7 eurobux)
Do people really eat Shawerma like in your pic? Feels like you'd need to remove a lot of the meat or else it would fall all over
I made some white rice, canned beans and fried eggs. My mommy bought everything but the ingredients probably would cost like 2.50$ all together.
Haven't eaten yet I was in the middle of my workout but got distracted by Jow Forums
Ahhh yeah I’m talking about the real thing. Actually my mom is from Lebanon and makes it exactly like you describe. I would NEVER trust restaurant kibbeh unless it was a really high class place. That homemade stuff is incredible, I like to put some hot red pepper and raw onion on it too
The breading is actually wrapped really well around the meat so it doesnt fall over. The extra bits you see on the side are added by hand to make the plate look "meatier"
in Saudi they eat it unwrapped (the dip their bread and make mini sandwiches as they go) but I prefer the levant/turkish cut sandwich style
brilliant
Cabbage stew and fried chicken
pic related
Had a kebab pizza with fries on it bathed in vitlökssås at my local pizzeria
It’s considered a delicacy in Sweden
I'll try it next time but i feel like our shawarma here are way too loose for it to work
>massive beer
>0.5 Liter
Tell me about croatian cabbage stew. Here the popular style is called bihus (Bigos in Polish) using fresh cabbage, sour cabbage, carrots, spices, different kinds of meat and wine.
I mentioned these in my short story about southwest Germany. Is it true they used to eat them even during lent because the meat is hidden?
Does it look like pic related?
Lol yeah. Beer is really expensive here
flag
chicken and wild rice soup
2USD
>I like to put some hot red pepper and raw onion on it too
You are a true Levantine brother, not sure about the raw onion tho lol
HOW IS FOOD AND ALCOHOL SO GODDAMN CHEAP IN your country THIS IS SO UNFAIR
>oh come on in bro, 3 beers and a double whiskey for $3
I had it at home. the same thing at a restaurant would be thrice the price
>Is it true they used to eat them even during lent because the meat is hidden?
urban myth
>I mentioned these in my short story about southwest Germany. Is it true they used to eat them even during lent because the meat is hidden?
yes
they're sometimes called "Herrgottsbscheißerle" in Swabia which means something like "tricking the lord"
retarded but funny
and they taste great
Nah here they always put a shitton of tomatoes and onions and sauce directly inside might just be in my region tho
lel that sounds like Ukraine prices, food can be cheap in certain areas (expensive af in big cities), alcohol is almost never cheap anywhere unless it’s bottom barrel tier or a great happy hour deal.
My nigga, I love the red pepper especially on hummus too with some oil. As for the raw onion, I really like this connection between the hotness of onion and savoriness of meat, just my thing I guess.
Yeah exactly, I had this dialogue about that nickname, and how people basically tried to hoodwink God by covering the meat in dough. I’ve never tried one but they look and sound tasty as hell
onions, carrots, potatoes, cabbage, tomatoes, wine and spice.
Canned ravioli, 1,5€
tikka from farooj
beef and vegetables stew and rice
I had three chicken pieces with french fries and pepsi from pic related. It costed me 26 riyals (around 7 dollars).
fucking based
I settled for a toasted bagel with cream cheese lazily smeared on it
