On one hand I make 60k a year because my union aggressively bargained for higher wages

On the other hand I feel like my union's demands will eventually lead to the company going under and that this model isn't sustainable for the majority of businesses

Reaganism. Though I think the union busting started in the 70s.

unions are cancer

communism, bad for our corporate overlords and rampant corruption

I have been blowing off wearing the required hearing protection for years and now 20 years into it here I am with poor hearing

you should see the Home Depot one.
it's 30 minutes long and completely shits on unions
Home Depot has even threatened or have closed down stores who planned to unionize

>t. former Home Depot employee

t. corporate slave who works 12 hours a day

Both walmart and home depot used the same actors LMAO

Lowe's one is hilarious due to the poor acting.

Yep that's gonna be an OOF from me

it is, the higher ups just need to adapt

Why do people say unions are communist?
They are privately funded and therefore not.

soul? in jap

in my line of work (pharmacy/drug GM for supermarkets) there are 4 major players in my area: Kroger, Walmart, Publix, and Walgreens. Walmart is the only company that is vehemently anti union. Walmart pharmacy technicians also happen to make literally almost TWICE the starting wage of a kroger or walgreen technician and have paid PATERNITY leave.

The un-unionized position makes $15 starting as opposed to $8.50 starting AND has better benefits. Either unions in america are fucking terrible or something is going terribly wrong here because $15 is taken out of every one of my paychecks for the mandatory union membership and I have it worse than people across the road from me who dont have a group (((protecting their interests)))

Under union labor, you can do no work at all and still get paid, and they can't fire you. :^)

$0.01 has been deposited into your account.

>and they can't fire you. :^)
you can still get fired. It's just VERY hard to get fired

>had friend who's father was a hardcore alcoholic
>worked as a janitor in a school
>would come to work piss drunk
>frequently stole toilet paper so he didn't have to buy any
>warned multiple times, kept doing it
>got fired because he kept stealing toilet paper
