Why is pic related so toxic about career advice?

Why is pic related so toxic about career advice?

When reading about any career path, or unconventional career change, all you get is bitterness and pessimism, "it sucks", "not worth it"

Meanwhile read on small forums and you hear constructive advice, positivity, and success stories

What's the deal?

Cause redditos tell the truth while biztards are larping without any accountability (anonymous)

Don't be a stupid faggot. Reddit is the home of low iq wagies who all larp as someone who is one promotion above their real position. Don't listen to a word those people say about anything. You go there to redpill normies and nothing else. Truth hides in the dark corners of the internet, not in the spotlight. Thats why Jow Forums is shit now. You want career advice? Read the art of the deal, no joke.

Instead of asking for advice elsewhere, you made a thread just to complain about leddit. Please kill yourself.

forums are for the weak and insecure. particularly reddit where the losers of life conger. here on Jow Forums you get extremes, the real losers of life and some real winners.

people want to project their weakness onto you whenever they can.

LUL

Both Jow Forums and plebbit are retarded. There's no good place anywhere.

There is user, put your hand on your chest. It's there.

reddit is a really terrible place for getting sincere, unbiased opinions. The karma/account structure promotes group-think and circlejerking so once a "popular opinion" has collectively been decided, that's it, that's the opinion that's repeated, and deviating from it gets you marked as a black sheep and ostracized (downvoted, insulted) for speaking against the accepted group-think.

That's why, in my opinion, sites that don't use registered accounts, but instead allow anonymous posting (like here) are infinitely better for honest discussion. Sure you get trolls, liars, and roleplayers, but you also get a lot of cold hard truths and sincerity because people aren't afraid of being judged or ridiculed - they can say what they truly believe and then leave, and their comments won't haunt them after the fact.

Thinking back, every community I've ever participated in that had named/registered accounts ended up deterioriating into total shit, but Reddit just amplifies and encourages it ten fold.
