percy jackson books were awesome. i also like heroes of olympus but not as much. The guy really just put a person of every fucking race and a gay guy in the heroes of olympics after percy jackson was 99% white lol.

in percy jackson only black guy is Beckendorf, a smith, child of the ugly smith god. He blacks the hottest french girl (daughter of aphodite) . but he dies and so does his gf. Lol.

Annabeth is a blonde swedish girl, and Percy is an Italian manlet (shorter than Annabeth in the first book).

We have Jason, the white son of Juppiter. Basically a Roman Percy.

Then there is Nico di Angelo who was straight in Percy Jackson books but became gay in heroes of olympus.

In heroes of olympus they also abandoned Grover (a goat and Percy's best friend).

yes they are intended for young teens i read them when i was in elementary or early middle school, but they were amazing to me.
Percy Jackson books I recommend.
They are very good if you are interested in greek mythology too. :)
