I live in Vermont (originally from Alabama). Its way whiter here like 96%. Not commercialized, mainly trees and mountains. Air is very clean. No proper cities here. Got much paler here and its much colder. No crazy niggers like in 'bama.

Maine is comfy, super forested, and a lot of people still speak French up there. Peope in Portland, Maine will speak to you in French first. And if you move to Northern Maine you're like 1-2 hours from Montreal.

Also Maine has a lot of coast/beaches and many lakes. Lake houses are pretty cheap up there. Sadly Vermont is landlocked but there's some lakes.
