Why isn't Australia a part of the U.K??

How come Australia isn't a part of the U.K and never was? They sound so similar and they also have the Queen on some of their coins, it's like they want to be British but were denied a long time ago and now they're just stuck with these strange customs. To be honest they should just become a state of the United States, that way they could have guns and cheap food like we do.

it means maintaining a navy they can't afford
commonwealth is the best they can do

Becaause Australia is all the way over here and UK is all the way over there.

Why do you have the Queen on your coins, it doesn't make sense. You guys were never British to start off with, there's literally no connection between Australian parliament and the U.K one.

you are retarded

were your parents related?
like, before they were married.

Whiter than you Mohammad

>the queen
>parliament
>connection
what is a government i don't understand

They're part of the commonwealth realm of nations which means they're answerable to the Queen of England.

>You guys were never British to start off with
oh ok
