How does /crypto/ feel about Ross Ulbricht?

How does /crypto/ feel about Ross Ulbricht?
>inb4 "who?"
criminal who had it coming.
literally who?
probably is responsible for Bitcoin taking off like it did. his site was too successful and it got to his head which lead to his downfall. got lazy with encryption and thought he was now a drug kingpin who could order hitmen, had too much trust in tor. was doing media interviews gloating. should have just exit scammed or actually sell his site like he told everyone he did and then just delete everything from his laptop.
He’s serving life isn’t he? What are the odds he still has money stashed away and anyone know who he’s cliqued up with in prison? Dude In the middle looks like someone in a white power gang.
LOL, he never hired hitmen. You buying that shit the government is feeding you. There is a reason he was not charged for that.
Pretty sure Ross wasn't the original DPR (creator of Silk Road) and took over for the original. He was in over his head and made some dumb moves while not keeping his shit secure which led to him getting caught.
good guy imho
let people take what they want
You think the government made an example of him to show the goyim what happens when one of the cattle step out of line and try to take away uncle schlomos cut of the drug trade and using a new currency without those tax dollars ending up in Israel?
clearly got fucked by the kikes, but crypto as a whole shouldn't associate themselves or support him in any way.
Probably guilty but under bs circumstances and should be freed. The government infiltrates his operations (which only exist because of retarded prohibition), fuck around and piss him off, so he hires a hitman to kill the annoying guy who is also a gov agent. Nobody was harmed and this drama is completely the result of the government ie prohibition and the hitman/"victim" (also a gov operative).
Is this right I haven't read about this in a few years
he is a modern day hero of our movement to decentralize crime to minimize its impact and cost to society.
de-organize crime.
Also don't forget the 2 agents that were undercover on Silk Road were stealing BTC and laundering them for themselves and got caught. I'm pretty sure they got off pretty easy with slaps on the wrist for.
Yup, a lot of that shit was made up. Research the trail. They brought it up to destroy his character but then didn't charge him as it actually didn't happen and they had no evidence.
He thought all government agencies were full of idiots and he is right for the most part, exept when they get their best to bring down the most successful tor site.
He left too much evidence, He tried to recruit developers and get advice on a forum using a username linked to his email account which had his actual name...
I mean...
also went around carrying a laptop full of incriminating information.
He was lazy from the beginning and never bothered to plan, his whole premise was “the government is too inept to catch me”
Life without parole is harsh for what he did and he was set up and denied a fair trial, the government set him up with 5 accusations of murder which were all absolute bullshit and somehow managed to have the evidence in one of these cases filed as evidence on his case.
The fuck?
Anyways Supreme Court already told him to fuck off so he is going to die in jail senpai.
Personally? He was successful at something for the first time ever and it got to his head, life without parole is a harsh sentence.
Is he indoctrinating everyone in prison? Are they anarcho-capitalists already?
This is the best summary of what happened.
Guilty of the victimless crime of running a website. Sentencing was based on accusations which weren't even charged. Clearly, he is being made an example of what happens when you think for yourself.
lol RU bought SR from the original DPR
he larped too hard
feels bad desu. hope we can break him out in a few decades with BTC-financed deathsquads. Should be worth the venture anyway, sure he got a few hidden wallets hidden somewhere.
this 100%. look at the volume of illicit goods which are hustled through instagram, twitter, etc and ask yourself why the providers of these platforms aren't serving life w/o parole as well. poor guy was given a sentence more severe than most actual murderers.
he knew what he was doing was illegal. No tears from me
Ross is probably doing ok in there. Probably gets respect for being a drug king pin and hes not a pedo so he doesnt have to worry about that.
also dpr was definitely a group of people, he just took the fall and got fucked by the government to be made an example of
Guy was an idiot
Used his personal email in an early silk road post
He's gonna die in prison
these are the same "homies" who will stick your liver with shank when time change or order comes.
>Homo homini lupus
extremely likely, he wouldn't have kept all his funds in one account.
not if you give good succ and have a tight anus
he deserves respect definitely because without him bitcoin, probably, would have never taken off.
but im kind of indifferent to his punishment. idk if he really did hire those hitmen desu
No one will ever know if he did hire them
I served time for attempted murder in super max castaic California
Ama.....trust me he is mentally done. It's almost 10 years for me the trauma is something I don't wish upon anyone
tell more
Some kids pointed me out in a 6 pack
I lived down the street (shooting) and lucky me I looked like the suspect
so you didnt even do it? damn
Charged 2 counts of attempted P.C 187 plus gang affiliation
25 years to life for each victim plus 10 years for gang affiliation. . 2 kids were shot in the stomach but survived.
So I was facing 60 years to life. Bail set at $2million
Took them 6 months to figure it out . All charges dropped
When the victims recovered from the hospita and said I was not the shooter the cops paid a bum to say i looked like the suspect . Because of that stupid bum I couldnt sue anyone after I was released
0 felonies till this day. Fuck the system that's why I'm taking my mining rigs overseas
Murica is trash unless you have allot of money
I mean allot
>The cops did their job
being in the nicker and seeing bitcoing hit 20k. that feel man must be sickening, i hope he has found some hope to hold on to . poor guy, the courts made an example of him, life without parole harsh as fuck man
I had nothing to do with victim or suspect . Till this day I wonder who it was or what the survivors think of me
The cops used my picture since I live/was in the area, they approached the victim while on a gurney .......they took advantage using his finger the cops said "this is him right this is the shooter " of all 6 people in the photo line up his finger was on my fkn face and the victim said yes . That was enough to book me my case never made it to superior court only municipal , attorney pushed the DA to drop the charges when the victim saw me in person for the first time (4 months into my incarceration) and denied I was the shooter. That's when the detectives came out with a surprise witness (a bum who confirmed I was the shooter ) 2 months later all charges dropped ...... $40k attorney fees. Never got anything back thanks to the circumstanial evidence and the bum. Fuck this place , unless your filthy rich
That and other reasons why I would never have children in murica
If you havent watched THE NEXT 3 DAYS .....do it and trust me it's real . I went though it
The justice system sucks. Not just in America. Being locked up for a crime you didn’t commit is a real thing and it’s happened to me and lots of other people. The problem we have here is the government, the police, the courts and their willing servants who are the “boils on the necks of society, preventing it from even turning it’s head”
Russel Crowe puts on an excellent performance. Family is most important and if your struggling you should not be in a country where others profit from incarceration, that's when you know shits fucked up
Look up GEO ticker
>Not crypto
Police are sub humans, literally ZOG foot soldiersx whenever I hear about one of them getting smoked by a cracked out nigger I chuckle.
Agree 100%
When I saw my family crying in court after the judge said bail set at $2 million . That's the most hurtful
With Ross I feel bad for him and his mom she is suffering allot and that's a terrible thing for something that's not deserving.
Libertarian hero that did more for crypto adoption than anyone in this board
That's messed up user I feel for you. But did you have gang affiliation? How do you earn money/live now? Oh & how bigs your link stack?
Hero
dude literally ran a illegal drug marketplace, i dont how u faggots think he should be a free man right now
edgy summer dude weed kids
I think he should be released with a 15 year probation. The man is smart and could do good.
What city? I'm guessing it was Mexican gangs?
this one was very similar as in being an unregulated market that was enabled through bitcoin
en.bitcoin.it
any oldfags familiar/willing to share infos? why was it closed down?
>
fuck off boomer. back to your slob of a wife you haven't plowed in 10 years because you can't even see your own cock
I have zero tattoos no gang affiliation I dont Shave my head
Never had prior arrest or detention
Life would have been different I'm not in a great situation now since I'm still paying back the $40,000 I used for attorney. Prior to my arrest I already had school loan and other bills . This debt made this allot worse but I have to be greatful. When the detectives showed up with the bum as a surprise witness my attorney told me to get ready for trial and that if my case proceeded to superior court I had to come up with $100,000 minimum since I was facing double LIFE sentences. Just few days after that conversation the DA dropped all the charges. It felt like winning the lottery when I received the news through a phone call. Hours later they called my inmate number and told me to ROLL IT UP. it feels weird talking about but they always told me I should write a book just never followed through
Yes I have link
>We will make it
he goes to jail for life, yet pharma company executives that have been shipping billions of doses of opioids all over the country, leading to our opioid epidemic, remain free.
literal murderers and rapist get less,
Amurica, where every faggot is allowed a gun. Backward society
The CIA are the biggest drug runners, of course they don't want the competition.
DUUDE WHAT IF DRUGS WERE LEGAAAAAAAAAAAL BROOO
DUUDE WHAT IF WE OWNED OUR OWN BODIES BROOO
At first I didnt know the rules and ignored a deputies presence
A simple wave to another inmate made him snap and they dragged me to a shu
I didn't fight back since I was overpowered and not sure what they would do to me
When they put me in a cell with 0 human contact i lost all sense of reality. It was brief but I couldn't process what was going on
I had to do burpees or any exercise to get tired and sleep. I couldn't tell time since the lights are always on
Trust me bkz it's the next thing closes to hell. Allot of guys cry or lose it you can hear them
You feel like an animal but much worse . They released me the next day to general population
Ross is what we call a soldier
CIA definitely still run drugs on the DNMs, it's a much simpler operation than relying on their nigger sources.
Prohibition came around so good goys wouldn't end up seeing the futility in current human civilization after ingesting mind altering substances, causing said goy to either:
>a) OD and die before making uncle sam his maximum number of shekels
>b) Not participating in all that the pyramid scheme has to offer, like marriage, a job and children. Basically denying him of new bagholders. Or doing a shit job, producing new bottom sellers ready to dump on him
>c) take LSD and have a god complex of their own, causing goy to overthrow his masters
Whats also known as THE HOLE you also get to eat different.
A jute ball consists of everything mixed into a giant grease ball. Not sure how or why but that made my day, the only thing to look forward to is when a deputy brings you a meal. Life goes by very slowly and you appreciate the simplest things
based
California justice system is broken please user make a fucking documentary and tell everyone about your story
>had corrupt sheriff put me in jail with no probably cause and guns confiscated with ammo stolen
>>had corrupt sheriff put me in jail with no probably cause and guns confiscated with ammo stolen
Go on... what county?

>The $48.2 million total proceeds means the government sold the bitcoins for an average of $334.
Boomers
Here's my favorite coincidence!!
Are ya ready kids?!
Prior to 2001, in Afghanistan, the Taliban outlawed Opium production.
After America gave them Freedom™ amazingly, the poppy fields started popping back up.
In 2018 Afghanistan is the largest producer of Opium and therefor Heroin, in the world.
What is one of the "biggest problems in America" these days?
Why if you were told the Opioid Addiction Epidemic you'd be spot on.
Huh.
A martyr for our cause
THis. When BTC is the world's reserve currency and the US government collapses we'll set him free.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

user I fucking beg you right now - bring those faggots who tried putting you away for life to justice
wtf is that meant to be?
YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO THINK, GOY
HERE TAKE THIS PILL WE MADE YOU
Not to mention:
>subsidize healthcare, reducing consumer burden on pain medication
>continue this until saturation point of pill addiction
>revoke subsidies, forcing addicts to pay 10x more for their pills or switch to a more affordable alternative (heroin)
>flood the market with cheap fentanyl
>dope addicts who stopped sucking off the Big Pharma teat die of fent ODs
at least it's killing off useless smack addicts. still evil as fuck though
write the book, you can sell your story very well, just embellish a bit here and there
Now you're thinking like them.
Evil? Probably.
Profitable? Absolutely.
Working? Yes.
>Profitable? Absolutely.
retard. the govt's goal isnt "profitability". When your that high up, your goal is power.
same place - California, city of Calabasas
>paid 2k to get out on bail and 6k to get lawyer represent so DA can drop charges...
>I could have stayed in there for week and face judge to represent myself but I would probably be fucked because judge in the same carriage with police/DA/prosecutor/public defender and they all just collect $$$ for every time suspect is processed.
we literally turned to mass concentration camp industry where state generate revenue for itself by incarcerating it's citizens
jesus thanks for sharing. Definitely a new take hearing a personal anecdote.
Thanks I checked it out but it's only for felony convictions they dropped all my charges . Regardless I will find a way to share my story since the detectives were not acting in good faith it could help other cases of injustice. Im hopeful blockchain will be a solution in someway to our justice system in the near future.
I signed the petition to get him released
youtube.com
user please speak up ! we need to clean up our state from nazi fuckers who behind blue wall of silence their badge and corrupt judges.
calls me a retard

it's fucked up that someone is sentenced to die of age in prison just for running a website while people like hillary clinton goes free
I think Marc Karpales was actually the original DPR and set Ross up. How that fat fuck has been able to stay alive all this time is a damn mystery to me.
>it's fucked up that someone is sentenced to die of age in prison just for running a website while people like hillary clinton goes free
boomer
part 1
The sad part is allot of cases like this exist what makes it worse is lack of funding for public defenders. My case would've easily taken 2-3 years if I didn't have a private attorney. The first time I saw the judge the public defender was trying to convince me to take a deal since I was facing 2 life sentences. I was like wait a minute but I have nothing to do with this she replied "well your going to be fighting this for a while " I was screaming inside never shed a tear but watered up when my family cried in court. My security level was 8, the highest is 9, and because of this I had to assimilate quickly. No smiling, couldn't talk to other races, stabbings are frequent you HAVE TO BE PARANOID, rations of toilet paper, showering near other men. It's allot getting used to but you cannot be weak or act the part.
part 2
I encountered a stabbing the first month. The guy was talking amongst his peers and his anectode was in regards to a sexual encounter he had with a 14 year old. Minutes later his own friends slashed his neck . Deputies carried him out and I asked my bunkie what the outcome was days later. He told me not to ask those questions. Lesson learned
Rule #1 never mention children in a manner that could be taken out of context . Guys would refrain from talking about their own. Mind you I was not surrounded by small time criminals. I was the only guy without tattoos or a shaved head. It worked in my favor since no one would believe the charges I was facing other inmates thought I was a physcopath in denial. Most people that spend a day or two in jail don't have a clue what life is like with other inmates that have LWOP charges or are fighting a death penalty case. Your life has to change in order to survive you have no choice. inmates are separated into groups depending on security level, most guys in my dorm we're facing 10-15 years minimum. The higher security level was mostly older inmates facing longer sentences with an atmosphere like no others. No laughing talking loud walking by other races. It was extreme jail politics.
The guys serving time for a DUI or low level offenders , they have it ALLOT EASIER. less politics would give you more freedom. But high power that's a different story. Just walking by gives you the chills. That's how it was for me the first time. The other disturbing part was having to sleep with the lights in your face and having to see other inmates asleep. Allot of them would have their eyes partially open while asleep and I dont know how to describe it other than it made me very uncomfortable. I would resort to a pair of socks and sleeping face up but it's very hard to adapt.
>Life without the possibility of parole
Are you white? If so what how were you treated and such by the white gang?
He's looking kind of buff
And you never answered what city the shooting happened in and if it was Mexican gangbangers.
fuck. Next time try to be white.
los angeles
kids shot were Hispanic 14 and 17 years of age
i am not Mexican
some guys like that life
Ill never forget one inmate told me hes looking forward to his 8 year vacation in prison. He said that gives him time to be away from his wife and to get in shape. I couldnt believe it but its true. You do have a large group of inmates who deserve it but its unfortunate the system is flawed and punishes those who dont deserve it > the poor
I hope crypto could give me the sense of security so I can call this place home. It hurts that I have to leave growing up I never thought life would turn out this way. I agree america is nice BUT thats if you have money otherwise you will live in worse conditions than a 3rd world. I traveled before my arrest and now that I know about crypto and how to build mining rigs ill take my chances elsewhere. Cheap rent, electricity, safe community. Still havent decided but California is not the same and going to another state doesnt really work for me. Time will tell though im still saving up
he has no choice
thats how life is
especially adx
aka
Alcatraz of the rockies
So you’re black
The system works.
