Do you buy all your furniture at IKEA?

Koreans buy things only in Samsung

Pretty much everything except for my couch. The bad quality is a meme, you get what you pay for. $1000 at IKEA will get you the same quality as any other furniture store for $1000, except for JYSK which sucks at any price.

The difference is IKEA actually sells $5 tables and shit while others do not.

thought jysk was good, what is your problem??????????

It's IKEA but everything is actually shit

No we are free people and not slaves of Ikea. we have our own Epicentre.

jysk is cheaper than ikea and it's fine unless you move your furniture a lot.

no but having an IKEA store is a sign of development for a city here

basically a city that gets the store gets promoted to the first league

>tfw the closest ikea is 100km away, but it's in another country, so they don't ship to my town

I plan to when I eventually move into my own place

just buildt a new kitchen, ikea everything and im very happy with it.
furniture like couch and recliner for my livingroom will be bought somewhere else, i dont like ikeas lineup there.

thats one hour to drive, whats the problem?

I have a desk from jysk, it's ok quality, especially for the price I payed

Never been in Ikea.

It has some nice iconic classics liek the armchair, I like the teapot personally, I drink a lot of tea at once and it is perfect and has a nice design. Beside few items and decorative ones I don't feel like to feed their racemixing and faggot agenda.
Some food is nice too there, better than burgers at lesst and I buy mustard and other specialities like herrings, berry marmelades there when I pass by, the chocolate is utter shit and like 70% sugar.
The quality is alright, but my office chair arms faux leather got consumed in like months, twice.
I don't mind spending some time visiting Ikea stores, in the end you discover and enjoy some new designs and ideas at best.

Grundat

There was more >american shit posted in the comments but I can't find any screenshots. Things like "if you're going to open a store in American then learn to spell first".

My mom likes it. It is like a boomer's magnet. I dislike their garbage, prefer to buy at a local furniture store or at Ashley HomeStore.

>1 hour drive
Unless you're driving at the autobahn and can drive for 100 km/h consistently then no, it's more like ~2 hours.

Furniture?

No. I worked there for a summer and now I refuse to even enter the building.

i walked into a Canadian Ikea once, and the meatballs near the entrance smelt awful, so I ditched my group to watch a movie nearby while they shopped.

>they don't ship to my town
The very purpose of ikea is you do your own shipment

Yes, mostly. Russian furniture is a complete garbage. We have a shitton of it everywhere and it's significantly worse than the ikea furniture.
And it's also impossible to assemble it by yourself unless you're a 200kg world champion heavyweight athlete with 40 gold olympic medals.

My last purchase was the living room chair that I use as a pc chair. I had to return one "wing" of the chair (it's a 4 piece - seat, back, 2 wings on the sides) because it had mismatching screw holes. It was a pain in the ass because it's heavy as fuck and the closest ikea store is in fucking china so I had to arrange a taxi where the driver would help me get it in and out of the trunk.
Aside from that, it's been 2 years and the screws haven't even been loosened yet. I expect it to last at the very least 10 years (comparing to how long regular pc chairs last, like 2-3 years)

So if you want to shop at i IKEA you go to China?

Quality is low, the only decent thing I found is this chair, which costs 240 €.
Why would anyone buy anything there is beyond me.

>buy a chair in Ik*a
>this happens after like two weeks
No, I will not buy anything in Ik*a ever again.

There is no IKEA here, they plan to open in 2020

IKEA is shit and deserves to be boycotted.

Caritas has better stuff

Nope, Ikea fucking sucks and it's not even cheap any more. I buy all my crap at Mio. It's a tiny bit more expensive but the quality is about 500x better.

I have been to that Ikea

autism

No. I used to all the time, but the prices have gone up so much it is cheaper to buy elsewhere, while at the same time, the quality and appearance has gotten worse so it is better to buy elsewhere. Pretty much the only thing I buy from there now is candles and some food stuff.
