Does your country require mandatory military service for young males? Did you serve, and for how long? Do people try to dodge it often?
Here, you serve for 9 months for army and 12 for Air Force and Navy. I'd say more than 95% of males aged 19-28 report for duty.

Until 2011 it was mandatory, you could however decline military, then you had to do social work instead
I didn't have to do it, but I wanted to, so I did 7 months voluntarily

No but it ought to have a minimum of 2 years service at least, not out of some patriotic fervor or anything but because everyone here is an undisciplined retard that could benefit from it

at 18 you have to enlist but you only get called into active service if you want to

Yes it's mandatory for all males, but you have the option to do civil service for 12 months instead. Conscription is 6 - 12 months and most men choose to serve in army.
If you don't serve in army or do civil service, then you'll be thrown in jail for some time, but that rarely happens.
I served in Air Forces and it sucked ass

There is conscription but our military is so poor and broken that less than 1/5 of young Brazilian guys actually serve.

>I served in Air Forces and it sucked ass
what did you have to do?
I went to the medical corps and was used as a warehouse worker for a hospital warehouse

If you were in your army for 6 years, what would the pay compare to in your country?

Example: Same money as Teacher, or Police, or electrician, factory worker, retail worker, and so on...

I should also mention that there's several ways to avoid being drafted, ie claiming physical or mental impairment.
These options have been around since forever, but only lately (past 10 years or so) there's a trend for people to visit a psychologist/psychiatrist beforehand, get him to sign a form that basically says that "this person is not fit for service", and avoid conscription that way.
Is this a common practice anywhere else?

Yes
I dodged it

as I said since 2011 concsription is "put on halt" (can be reactivated), so it's no issue anymore
but when it was, people went to the church and had to say they can't be soldiers because they don't find it moral, then they did social service instead

It's mandatory on paper but the cuck gubment has given the military such a small budget that they only take in a few. Therefore it's mostly motivated soldiers these days, those who really don't want to can get away from the service because the military doesn't need them. I served 12 months, I felt motivated because of patriotism, sense of duty etc. Our conscription is 18 months in total, so they can still demand 6 more months from me. That means I can still be called in for exercises with the reservist forces for example but fortunately they haven't contacted me. Reservist training just means that you lose income from being away from work, there's nothing fun about it.

Conscription is not paid work. It's not like service in a volunteer force.

if you get forcefully sent to your country's military is there any way to get out of it without any fines or penalties?
could you just show up and act as weak, useless and incompetent as possible until the military tell you to fuck off?
or say that you refuse to pick up a rifle for religious reasons and quote the bible until they let you go?
conscription fags please answer

Yes, mandatory 6 months. I'd say 1/3 doesn't serve because they either dodge it or they get lucky because the army simply never conscripts them.

I asked after 6 years in, like a professional soldier.
I asked what jobs it compares to in wages, after 6 years, maybe rank of sergeant.

then it's like teacher tier pay unless you get on deployments in foreign countries

Signal man. Making copper/fiber connections between a and b, so shitloads of running in forests and swamps. Also some radio work and we built all the field electrical connections and made sure they were working all the time. And when we weren't doing that, it was the basic military training, marching, cleaning barracks etc.

After 6 years your salary should be pretty much identical to most teachers

>could you just show up and act as weak, useless and incompetent as possible until the military tell you to fuck off?
It's not enough. You must have a mental or physical illness (usually faked)
>or say that you refuse to pick up a rifle for religious reasons and quote the bible until they let you go?
You will go to do a mandatory civil service.

>mandatory civil service
is there a way to also weasel you way out of that
sounds tiresome and boring as fuck

I'm in Uni now but I'm not sure I wanna put in all the effort to learn so much
I'm thinking about going back to the army and doing it as proper job
Do you think it's a bad idea?
Which branch would you go to?

Same, pretended to be a tranny and they let me go, lmao

No mandatory service of any kind here. Most people seem to just go to college/uni

We go to Uni after conscription. It's pretty fun to talk about each other's experience in army and tell stories of what happened there

If you have an illness, you are free from any service. By the way, you can just dodge it, but they can catch you.

>if you get forcefully sent to your country's military is there any way to get out of it without any fines or penalties?
If you can't present to the Army a legitimate medical-related reason for not showing up, like a paper signed by a doctor (and then being examined by an army doctor to confirm), then no, you'll be paying hefty fines until you reach (I think) 32 years of age.
If you're conscripted and show up at the camp, but feel like this is too much for you, you're taken away to a military hospital for a typical exam, then get sent home with a 12-month leave, but have to serve the time next year anyway.
However, if you DO show up, DON'T ask for a leave, stay in the Army but act like a faggot and avoid responsibilities, you get treated like trash and have your life turn to hell for the rest of your time there.

glad we don't have service here, but out of curiosity would myopia enough to get you sent away from the army? I have that...
what about for religious reasons? couldn't you just refuse to serve by appealing to the bible(Exodus 20:13)?

Attached: spurdo infantry.gif (355x355, 811K)

>myopia
Yes. More than -6 will be sufficient.

50/50 chance you die

Same

If you have myopia, you're barred from the only cool part of the Army..shooting a gun. Other than that you have to serve all the same. If you have severe eye problems my guess is that you get a pass though.
>what about for religious reasons? couldn't you just refuse to serve by appealing to the bible(Exodus 20:13)?
Nah, none of that applies. Only Jehovas witness (and gypsies) are exempt iirc.

if you have degree in university you serve as:
6 month as private soldier or
12 month as reserve officer with good salary

if you dont have degree you serve 12 month as private soldier

im currently in army as reserve officer

>Nah, none of that applies. Only Jehovas witness (and gypsies) are exempt iirc.
sounds like bullshit and a clear violation of Article 9 of the ECHR

Ι had the best wank in my life while doing MS.
I saw a 20minute vision in my mind about me having sex with my Lohias, an olive skinned curly haired wild beauty and my Sminias, a anime-like girl with glasses.

9.9/10, only actually having the threesome in the dirty showers could top that wank.

This

I have no motivation or loyalty to my country. Lots of people I grew up with served though.

Not mandatory for everyone, they select some to fill the voluntary vacants. I had mala cuea and I was selected but I dodged it because of my anxiety.

>tfw you'll never get cross a frozen lake naked with the lads and banter about each other's cock size

Whats that lad
only results returned by google is in spanish
Little brother is up for service and is trying to find ways to dodge it due to anxiety, and im trying to dissuade him

do you pass?

I went for like 2 weeks but I got a GAD diagnosis and they kicked me out

Yes
No, I'm not a cuck. No, most people are cucks who do their "service" like a good little sheep.

No our military is full of psychos that want to have an excuse to kill people.
