I worked as a janitor for a while once. That was a much better job than burger flipping. Quiet, working alone listening to podcasts all day. Cleaning toilets after someone has thrown a poo party wasn't pleasant but I had gloves/masks/even a plastic hazmat suit if I thought the situation called for it. So yes, in my opinion, cleaning literal human shit is a better job than fast food.

it's not too late. I had to do this at age 25 as well (not mcdonald's but non-chain fast food). this was also around the time of the first bitcoin bubble when I finally got in at $800. I kept cost averaging and soon the $9/hr I had been making became $3/hr or less as crypto kept going down. lived with my mom. wanted to kill myself regularly. but I believed in crypto. don't give up or think it's too late to make it. at the current ~$285 billion market cap it's still worth cost averaging and seeing how it develops over the next 5 or so years. just focus on self-improvement and understand why this stuff can become a $5 trillion + market. don't let it get you down. if you can't sustain a frugal enough lifestyle to save or don't really believe in crypto maybe it's not the right thing for you. but you're here, so that's better than most people. good luck user, may you one day make it and look back on all this and laugh
