Does nothing special? It's the only DAG coin with built in smart contracts which has a test product, buying on hype with no product = dump mode. Nano pumped after it's testnet went live.
FTM has fuck all hype on half the other chink coins out there, QuarkChain = bigger promise than FTM, bigger hype, bigger community, shit dumped hard after hitting exchanges.

DAG = half the price of ICO price and has upward momentum, most coins recently have lost a shit down more than half value once hitting exchanges.
FTM will drop 500% from ICO price and you'll be waiting awhile for it to turn, better sell that shit the second it hits an exchange.
Timing is key, the timing for DAG now is perfect.. ICO holders = mah coin dropped 300%, it's ok it'll come back soon.. mean time every one else is making gains while you wait.
