yeah i miss peak South Park s 6-11, good memories - the Simpsons and Futuruma in their prime were very clever. seen some of the classic disney films and quite liked the animated batman series of the 1990s

Best period of Japanese animation was from late 80s through 90s.

Now it is just moemoe focus. Studios discovered best way to make money is to squeeze that from hard geek fanbase besides trying to make the normal thing. To speak honestly, I think even Ghibli and studio Chizu are very overrated. They are better than most but still not actually so good besides visual and animation. Well, big 90s titles like Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop are still great. Of course those most Western people who like anime has seen I think.

Evangelion has moemoe fandom too, but actually it is a good series. Actually, I am still amazed such a thing like that we did not see before. Characters are all weakness and suffer some trauma. They act like real people. It is very honest about us.
