Most people would understand. The contemporary Oslo dialect is fairly close to bokmål, but anywhere else it would be considered odd not to speak some regional dialect. Note of course that most people also absolutely refuse to speak any form of standardized Norwegian and will prefer speaking English to foreigners.

Oslo was really nice. I went when it was sunny and warm last year. I enjoyed chilling in the parks, walking along the water, and it definitely felt more cosmopolitan than Bergen. But I enjoyed Bergen more because of the scenery. I don’t know how those two cities are everyday, but when it’s warm and sunny, literally heaven on earth

Oslo can be pretty warm during summer but cold as fuck when it's winter. -13c and lots of snow is not uncommon. Bergen on the other hand is more chill all year around with mostly rain during winter

Not him, i live in the north of Norway. The weather is shitty and its either day all day or night all day. But i guess it is comfy in the winter when it snows, staying inside drinking hot chocolate after skiing, watching TV with family. Not that it happens anymore as i'm studying and the best part of the winter is pure agony and darkness.
