Do you have English ancestry?

Do you have English ancestry?

Are you related to any kings, by chance?

>muh ancestry
imagine being american and thinking about this all the time yikes

No, my family descends from Irish peasants that illegally migrated to the United States back during the potato famine. We wuz migrants n shiet

It's because we all know on some level that America's best days are over.

you're still probably descended from an english king via norman settlement of ireland

>Do you have English ancestry?
No, thank god.

I have no interest in such matters milord, I only wish to tend to my crops.

Yes
Possibly, but I am descended from Cambridge educated ministers

you are a king, my lord

I've read that my last name comes from an english nobleman who moved to Italy. I don't know for sure because no one has othered to do some actual research on it, not that i know of.

m'lord i'm a simple cum farmer I'm ought of the nobility forsooth

we're all decendents of adam and eve so in that sense yes.

Nonsense! You were kings and such!

>Are you related to any kings, by chance?

Indeed. We truly were kings. And I'm proud to be able to call you a brother, truly a member of the family.

Hi cousin. :)

You're facetious. :-)

Hope you're having a wonderful day, *brother*.

That's because, besides in those places that have received lots of migration, most of our ancestors have been living and intermarrying here from centuries, so you would have to go back a lot to know where they actually come from.

I understand. Just was kind of envious of other kids whose families kept track of their family record and heirlooms. It's just neat.

I did almost all of the research myself, user - you can too!

Yeah, me too. Maybe someday i'll do proper research on my last name and my ancestors. I should ask my grandpa.

Hi!

Ironically no, Scottish and Irish.

Did a DNA test back when it was all the craze and investigated my papertrail a bit.
60% English, 35% Dutch and 5% German & Norwegian.
Basically the average English nobleman.

I have bad news for you friend...

the odds that you're nothing but scots and irish are impossibly low m8.

Cornish, and of the Arundells and Bonythons, but no kings far as I know.

>Basically the average English nobleman.

English noblemen were French. You are basically the average anglo-saxon peasant.

>mexican on one side
>scots and irish going back several centuries on the other
>no saxon or norman blood of note
it isn't FAIR

descended from favored jews in the ottoman empire, had family who fought in the great war, and owned a shitton of land in turkey and Greece until property taxes caught up with them.
