CS degrees are a lot of busywork code where you solve an inane problem then study CS theory, rather than starting with scripting useful scripts and then integrating APIs into simple programs and going from there. They teach you nothing practical, academia is a joke.

Did a couple years studying computer networking and a little bit of cyber security. CS is real shit so I haven't done anything more yet. First "career job" is helpdesk. It is ok at best, I need to figure out what I want to do though next. Feels like I'm at a dead end. I'm not qualified for a jr level network engineer feels bad. Should have taken my classes more seriously but my last gf weighed me down so much and I really regret not breaking it off based on that. Alright red alert, I need a serious answer. What is probably most practical is to just do the estimate, use wix, whip out some shit real fast and profit.
