Can Holochain hit $1?

That paper is a little confusing too as the context is light.

But basically the supply was set by the ICO and now the network will form with that supply and it just gets shifted around on there and the value will be set by what people will sell it for and how much compute people will offer per token so that makes the "value"

I dont give a fuck just keep the memes coming

Ok not to shortcut having to think about it myself BUT what does that likely mean for the value at conversion? I get what fuel will be used for I just don't understand the goundlevel reality of what its going to do to value as it relates to early compute power.

Really simply do you think it will increase or decrease in value at first?

My best guess, in the beginning, there will be a lot of offers of compute power and very little money flowing in, so the fuel will be worthless, with everyone fighting for the same little money, but as the system matures and becomes the next Amazon, we millionares

Oh ok my bad.

So there are going to be the thousand nodes initially providing compute that they sold and whoever else joins. So that is dynamic, which is the point of a horizontal system like this.

If its worthless at first why not just wait and buy then?

This too by design so that they can desperate bankrupt apps to migrate.

Like if you can just rebase and cut your costs 30% then you would do that and that's how they kickstart awareness.

No no that's not what he meant. He meant that the hosts will be worthless. Their compute will be cheap at first because it starts at the bottom and the market builds as the demand comes in.

Hosts set their own rates so initially they will all be low trying to get their firsts customers and then the market will kick in.

I'll be a millionaire if it hits a penny...
