by their radicals?
> guess the meaning of new kanjis they don't know?
adults don't, for the number of commonly used kanjis are only around 3000, which japs have plenty of time to have covered by highschool.
And if they meet rare kanjis, they just don't think about it.
children would sometimes imagine the meanings of new kanjis by their components.
Kanji components sometimes contain the related ideas and sounds.
seems like a terrible ineficient system.
it's the same thing when I see a word I don't know, I very rarely look up the meaning - I just guess based on context and move on.
so is colombian economy but you are alive
どうやって日本語を学んだらいいの
外国人にとって不可能ですか

Give up
How do they read the kanji though? With an unfamiliar word, you can you attempt it phonetically
お断りします
日本語を学んで可愛い日本人の彼女をゲットする
ぽっちゃりした日本人の女の子が大好き
Kanji means something when it's used as a verb, adjective, adverb, noun etc. A certain Kanji on its own doesn't mean something claerly.
>how do japs guess the meaning of new kanjis they don't know?
They just don't. They have no idea how to pronounce that, not to mention the meaning.
Same with english though.
26 letters is all you need :)
You are just as inefficient with your unphonetic retarded spelling.
really hope someday japanese will accept latin alphabet, japanese is very fit for this. it's not chinese with tone pronunciation and all japanese have the same japanese unlike chinese.
>c is k and si
>gh is f and o and ou and aw
japanese could drop all kanjis with a simple system where they use some diacritic mark to tell apart homonyms and still keep their kanas.
how often do you read aloud?
Are chinese characters the ultimate brainlet filter? Look at all the hopeless foreign trash that can't grind them, literally impenetrable.
I read in my head
Most characters have an element which indicates the reading and an element which indicates meaning. So yes, by their radicals.
Stop talking out your arse, Cleetus. Just shut your fucking mouth.
Piss off.
got a link explaining that?
I'm starting to grind radicals but I don't know how to use them.
by the way, kanji signs are like the astrological signs for us in terms of each sign indicates a corresponding symbol.
our script is just writing this sentence like
依 the 道, kanji 号s are 似 the 星学ical 号s 為 us 中 期s of 各 号 中指es a 共答ing 象.
漢字のチョイスが何かうそ臭いな どういうことか説明しろよ
というかお前日本人じゃないだろ
いきなり嫌な言いがかりだなお前。
どこが気になるんだよ。
サインが記号じゃない所なら一単語で一つの意味をあらわすように端折っただけだよ。
