1 or two continents?

For me it's one.

Idc man, wouldn't change anything
The division is *nglos / latinos
Simple

One, politically devided in three.

two.

two and if you say one then Africa, Europe, and Asia are also one

2

two
this especially Europe and Asia

Why?

I see 43 continents right there dunno bout u

2

only south americans disagree

2 continents, but
1 people, under God

Not really. The Americas have close enough time zones.

two and if you disagree afroeurasia is a thing then

Five. Greenland, north america, central america, the caribbean, south america :^)

By definition, Eurasia is one continent, but there's a small landmass that unites Africa and Eurasia, making it Afroeurasia, a supercontinent. If small landmasses can make you a part of another landmass, then North America and South America are part of a supercontinent, the American continent.

Now, geologically speaking, the American continent is divided by three tectonic plates, North, Caribbean and South, which creates North America, Central America and South America.

So, in the end, it's according to your interpretation.

I mean basically this but the answer is still two.

2. Panama split us up.

For me, it's four
Following this idea, Russia is a north american country

I see 2 indeed:
South America proper and Northern South America

2 and a piece of evropean land too

Economically and politically,
Besides Greenland, I usually consider the Realm of Canadia and the US of A "North America", Mexico+Cuba+Panama+Costa Rica+Nicaragua+Belize+El Salvador+Honduras "Central America"
and everything from Colombia to the whitest regions of Argentina "South America", with the exception of the memetic French Guinea (Europe) and similarly memetic Dutch islands like Aruba and CRAB islands

geographically, I tend to consider everything north of Panama "Northern American continent" and everything south of Panama "Southern American continent"
when people refer to "il continente americano" usually they refer to the region in our hemisphere, so northern america, and "continente sudamericano" is southern america
exceptionally we could refer to "America" as a whole continent, but I'd say it's exceedingly rare (usually, it's just a synonym of the US of A to be quite honest with you, familia)

Las Islas Malvinas belong to Argentina anyway
