This can be said only in a statistical sense because of subjectivity. Surely there are individuals who continue to reap great happiness and utility from the options opened by wealth. Who is to say this user is not one such person? Likewise are there people who find happiness without any money at all. Just because someone else can find happiness in poverty (granted, $75,000 is very far from poverty, but my point is general) doesn't mean that I should also be expected to do so or even try to. Everyone's happiness is unique. If it were not so, all people would behave in a completely thoroughly identical way, which is obviously not the case.

Job 1 has longer commute and lower pay but co-workers were great and it felt comfy.
Job 2 seems more interesting with higher pay (15%) but co-workers were meh. Also probably need to do more work.
I can't decide between them.
