In my town there have been three particularly gruesome murders in the roughly 20 years I've lived here. Once an elderly couple was bludgeoned to death by a neighbor boy. The police found him on a cruise ship a day or so later. That was a few years ago. Back in the early 2000s a serial killer team killed one or two of their victims in the town. More recently, a young man I knew growing up developed drug-induced psychosis and stabbed his mother to death.

I'm surprised this case isn't more well known. It's pretty messed up. I can't think of any other guys who built a 100,000$+ high-tech torture chamber with such elaborate equipment.
