Not Japan, but when I went to china I felt really tall, and I'm only 5'9. Taller then like 70-80% of the guys. Only woman taller then me I remember was white and also like 6'5.
Quick blogpost bc my post and I do what I want:
I doesn't affect me if I'm shorter then other guys but always felt kind of like a little boy whenever I encounter a tall girl. In particular when its a surprise, like I'm checking her out from a distance in the bar and when I go to approach her oh shit she's an inch taller. So not having to deal with any girls taller then me was nice.
Also bunch of chinese girls literally approached me to take pictures with them because I was white and decent looking (most of the other people in my group were asian american or old or fat), though I thought they were kind of uggo plus I had to stick with my tour group with my mom so not like I could go on a sex tour or anything.
