what are your opinions on steak sauce

I like to taste my steak personally. not sauce.

If I sauce my steak it's bad, however, some cheap cuts actually go well with sauce.

thats not a lie but when I season my meats I uaually make a rub of some kind instead of sauce. what about you?

Only use it on meat that I wouldn't bother marinading, i.e. really shitty meat
Otherwise the steak should be cooked in a way that it wouldn't need extras or with marinades instead of relying on a sauce

A1 works pretty well IMO but there are some nicer steak sauces floating around too. There's this one local sauce that's really good that my mom got for a christmas present but I forgot the name.
