Often when I see pictures of eastern europe and other supposed shitholes it doesn't seem at all poor and shitty, is it cherrypicking or what? Their standard of living seems about the same as up here in ""rich"" Scandi.

Maybe. Poorly maintained infrastructure still is too prevalent in Eastern Europe. For example, basic things such as pavement are uncommon in EE suburbs.

It's an upper middle class suburb of skopje, a lot of places here pass as europe because it's the capital. You can also find north africa tier shitholes here.
But in general all new buildings with new infrastructure look the same everywhere in eastern europe. Difference is we pay 60k and you pay 600k.

50.000 Bosnians, another 50.000 Serbians, 10.000 Croatians and 10.000 Albanians and Macedonians. Other immigrants are below 10.000. So that means we have around 130.000 non-Slovenians in Slovenia, not counting those who are from mixed families, which ads I would say another 200.000 people.
