why? no, i do not fast in ramadan. how did you know?
Why? no, i do not fast in ramadan. how did you know?
what's ramadan shut the fuck up
this.
Nice Breakfast
Bacon wrapped meatloaf with whiskey glaze is go to dish for iftar
thnx, fren
bacon is not common here, fren. i think it's expensive bc of that.
how much is kilogram of lamb?
+45 lira (~7.5$) in İstanbul. it's usually cheaper in the smaller cities.
are you on a travel or is it premade? why is it in those boxes?
thought it was cheaper but still 2-3 bucks cheaper than here
i'm living in the dorm, fren. it's easier to put those in the boxes and then keep them in the refrigerator.
I never can laid out all the food i'll eat in front of me like you're doing. i just start grabbing foods and don't stop eating until i'm full
yes i'm also obese
it's not that cheap for us when you consider the income difference, fren.
then start to eat like a human being, user. you should see what you've eaten, i think that helps you to eat less.
try some sort of calorie counting app. it helped me lose weight and realize how much im eating more than my necessary daily calories need
are you that user studying microbiology?
wtf user it was molecular biology. you know too much. who are you?!
I'm just an autist who spends too much time here and recognizes posters, don't worry
Do you like it? Does it include a lot of chemistry (probably it does, right)?
Lan cayin nerde keko?
Fucking based
yeah, too much. especially the organic chemistry was too hard for me in this semester but i like the biology lessons. it's kinda balanced :d
i'm trying to decrease my çay consumption, i think i'm gonna die one day bc the çay overdose.
Staying in İstanbul soon for 6 months
What stores would you recommend for meat and other things fren
why didnt u study to be an engineer you dumbass you'll be unemployed fucking p00rfag i hate p**r ppl
Based
Imagine studying a empty field that has no future fucking retard
idk the budget but the aldi equivalent is "bim", it's cheap. however i'd prefer "migros". you can buy your meat and other needs from there. there are more high quality meats in some local butchers but "migros" easier and more reliable to buy. plus, you can find pork in those stores.
>being an engine*r
kek, nice bait.
Hi im visiting turkey this summer :3
what's the brown thingie in the tupperware?
Is that coffee?
i hope you'll like the visit, fren!
that's mulberry molasses + sesame seed paste, fren. #livinghealthy :d
I've heard migros is good thanks user
How about places to eat
And in what district do you stay fren
im in sarıyer, user. you can find various places to have breakfast and a quality dinner in beşiktaş (especially karaköy), beyoğlu (taksim/osmanbey area) and kadıköy. those are the safest and the best districts in istanbul. try to stay away from the fatih (old city) area except visiting the historical places. and you can use the zomato app to find good places to eat, it's very common to rate places on that app, here.
What's all the tahini for?
that's tahin and mulberry molasses, user. you should try it if you like tahin.
Is that coffee in a plastic box
nope, fren
I will stay in uskudar
Hopefully our paths will meet user
Thanks for everything
Ah now I see the bottom layer there. Hm thanks but I prefer the grape molasses I think.
i hope, fren! beşiktaş to üsküdar is 5 mins with ferry, they're really close to each other.
wow, a man of culture here. i think grape is okay too. but you should try the mulberry one.
>mulberry molasses + sesame seed paste, fren.
What does it taste like?
Here I guess the equivalent would be pandan spread
you can think of the sweetness of the molasses and the mild bitterness of the tahin blending together. but the overall taste depends on the ratio since i'm mixing them together myself. it really tastes good, fren. i was eating nutella back in the days and switched to that, i think it's healthier.
>why? no, i do not fast in ramadan. how did you know?
Is this a statement that would get you stoned if admitted in public or is Turkey actually a civilized society?
Unlike Iran and Saudi Arabia, Turkey is secular so only old people and Kurds fast
Turkey is secular but Turks are not.
duud at first, I said I was going to trigger a couple of guys in the dorm by eating my breakfast in the morning, in a thread. however, after the first day i realised nobody was fasting in the entire dorm except one guy. everybody is having their breakfast or ordering some food from outside. my uni's dining hall is filled like always. and that's really a promising youth!
Ranma?
Do you think Turkey will go back to being a European country again once Erdogan's term finishes?
Migros is the Turkish wallmart
Your best bet
It's just a month where people try to eat or drink nothing during sunlight, it's just religious practice
yeah, idk about being "european" since turkey is one hell of an eclectic country in the terms of culture. however i can say we'll climb up a couple of levels after he's gone.
I guess you guys kind of deserve being in the shitters right now for RE-ELECTING him
>Turkey is secular so only old people and Kurds fast
look at this diasporoid
turkey was never european. maybe they might be in the future however.
Lol, what? People cannot be secular, only states can. Furthermore, Turks are pretty damn chill regardless compared to other Muslims.
user he wanted a re-election for the istanbul bc his party lost the city. and they'll be making a re-election in june. getting rid of him will not be easy. but you're right, those ppl are the main reason.
this
I mean the 2018 Elections
That's a fairly healthy breakfast, good way to go
turks in australia are pretty religious in my experience
met quite a few erdogan supporters unironically
thnx, fren!
same shit in every election, user. i'm just sick and tired.
i think they should come here if they want to suck erdogs cock that much. the european diaspora is pain in the ass since they vote for him every time. it's sad to see australian one's are no different.
Fuck diaspora. When he got %52 in the 2018 election around %1 of the votes was from overseas if I remember correctly lmao.
Every Muslim diaspora is cancer, Islam is a way for them to retain a sense of identity as foreigners in a country where everyone dislikes them
