My general advice to people is to only pick from what's available on coinbase. Granted I usually tell that to normies because I don't want to get blamed for them losing everything in the next bitconnect, so ymmv. Pretty much all of crypto is gonna go through the stratosphere over the next decade, it's just a matter of making picks that do it sooner than later so you can dump them into other projects.

I tell people to buy link too, but I want my normie friends, family, and coworkers to be wealthy too. They will not buy link because that takes effort, but they might set up an automatic buy order on coinbase every paycheck because they think fdic means something. I'd rather them get some bitcoin and eth before it goes mainstream than have them resent me for the rest of their lives because link seemed too out there for them. You gotta understand that most people don't even know what blockchain or smart contracts are, so a tech that makes smart contracts accessible is way way out there.
