Americans, explain to me why are left-wing people called liberals when they are against free market? Is the "liberal" term applied only for customs and not for economic freedom?
Because in the rest of the world is backwards, liberals are usually said of economically liberal fellows.
Also, why the fuck is the left party blue and the right party blue? Get with the program, America.
Yeah, it's definitely a misnomer. They like to frame themselves as liberators, when in reality they are totalitarians. They think because they champion fag rights, it somehow negates the rest of the shit they do.
Joseph Jones
Because liberal = (((freedom))) Aka let's invite all the poor muslims and pajeets to our country because everyone deserves equality
at one point in history the Democrats were the conservative party and the republicans the socialist party
I forgot when it was but they traded places
Nathan Foster
Do you guys have a third party that is liberal in customs and economically? Not really a libertarian party, but a true liberal one.
Isaiah Rodriguez
How the fuck does this shit happen
Brayden Parker
Lyndon Johnson decided he wanted the niggers voting for democrats for over a hundred years.
Dylan Martinez
american liberals are fiscally to the right of most conservative parties around the world.
Benjamin Nelson
>Is the "liberal" term applied only for customs and not for economic freedom? The word has no real literal meaning anymore when it's used in the context of left wing vs. right wing. If you identify as a liberal in America in 2018 there's a good chance you are actually an anti-free speech fascist. Federalist would be a more accurate term. A third party that actually means anything? No.
Connor Barnes
And republicans, being socialists, didnt celebrate that now there was another left wing party?
Or is it because Marx hated niggers and socialists back then knew that?
But wasnt Lincoln that freed the slaves a republican? This makes no sense, son.
Luis Moore
Im actually asking because bernie sanders is a true socialist and seems to be getting more momentum.
Y'all gonna get Venezuela'd in a couple decades.
Cooper Richardson
The “liberal” term refers to being liberal with restrictions on government intervention. Conservatives traditionally wanted less government intervention and to have things handled mostly at state level and private sector.
Kevin Reed
>Presidential Candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren blocks your path. The Republicans were never "left wing" by modern standards.
Ethan Morales
Republicans weren't socialist, they were simply further left economically than democrats. Democrats then went even further left than the republicans were while the republican position didn't really move for a while though its gravitated further right since just out of a lack of other places for right-wing people to go.
Andrew Gutierrez
>seems to be getting more momentum Isn't that because he's likely to die soon?
Carter Myers
Sanders has no chance of actually becoming president, he's good at firing the base up which is what democrats need right now to try to take more Senate seats.
Aaron Phillips
Left/right and liberal/conservative mean nothing. There is only ZOG and anti-ZOG. ZOG tries to hide this.
David Phillips
Libertarians
Mason Bell
yanks are illiterate OP, they have confused promiscuity with liberality.
Ian Taylor
because of fucking amerifags i know have to call myself libertarian instead of liberal or people get confused.
Brayden Hall
>i know have to call myself libertarian instead of liberal or people get confused.
