>His country barely speaks his language anymore

We don't need them.

>his country has accent marks to try to do something different
oh no no no

>His country doesn't have a language of it's own

Irish is mandatory in all schools from the age of 4 to 18 user, and you can't go to college unless you pass it

Anyway, we don't use them because you should be able to tell how a vowel is to be pronounced without them.
But we do have Č, Š and Ž.

>But we do have Č, Š and Ž.
That's enough honestly, dunno why mutts freak so hard at the sight of accents or circumflexes
It's literally there to make it easier

>that map
It wasn't supposed to be like this

Also post the real map next time

I thought that map looked odd, knew there had to be way more considering Irish College numbers
You Fail Irish, you Fail the LC lads

âê are the only ones we have but we also have these nifty dots over öü and the autistic causing of g, ğ
We also have s and c taking a shit şç and another autistic i, ı
we dont use qwxj but we have them on our keyboards regardless

We write Č, Š and Ž because the sounds are radically different from C, S and Z. Writing E and O with accents only changes whether the two vowels are pronounced narrowly or widely so they're not written.

The second map is people who say they speak English, the first one is how many actually use it.

Would I be right in saying that one is showing areas where Irish is the daily language and one is showing areas where people can speak Irish (but don't necessarily use it regularly)?

>We also have s and c taking a shit şç
Holy shit that made me giggle, never saw that imagery

So how fluent is your Lakota, user? More refined than your Cheyenne?

i was going to say s and c shoving a backwards hook up their asses at first

Yep, first map is interchangeable with Gaeltacht regions
Second map is just the people who know the language
Such is Westernization, same thing happening in Germany
Don't let it happen to you Russiabro

>he calls real letters accent marks

Which Gaeltacht area is the best for Irish speakers?
Like are there any areas that are called Gaeltacht where people just don't bother?

We actually call them fàdàs here
Just means broad
Wanted to make sure the Anglos understood though, like how we sing our anti-British songs in English now, enough to make sure they actually understand we don't like them

Not really user, the Gealtacht by definition is an Irish speaking region, I've friends from there that say they text their friends and post on Social media in English, but speak to the locals in Irish

it's not a big problem desu

Useless crap

irish people think they look fancy speaking in broken irish with each other, and no is the wiser because no one bothers learning a dead language except them, only because they're forced to as children

We just do it to piss off Anglos bud

>他的語言沒用到表意字。

Stress of the word is _always_ on the first syllable.
Everything else is just stupid.

I'm afraid not pal

You have to have a medieval tradition of writing two s right next to each other with fancy cursive
Btw pic related looked cool as shit. You should have kept it to flex on anglos even more

Attached: gaelic.png (200x55, 4K)

Also since 2 years or so we finally got an "official" capital ß: ẞ

Yeah it was cool as fuck huh?
There was a book on display in my secondary school (High School), that was written in old Gaelic lettering and was available for anyone to read, Irish hasn't changed much at all in 3000 years so it was completely legible

>kept it to flex on anglos
Our government can't stop copying theirs. Sad!

Only putting the stress on the first syllable is what's really stupid

can you actually write modern irish in ogham?

With such a vague definition, every country qualifies

then how come the vast majority doesn't actually speak or even understand it properly. Why are you so weak and lazy? This is why you need to import Indians and other people from all around the world to work for you and eventually live life instead of you? Is this why Irish people would rather go extinct than to run their own country?

Are there ogham characters for á,é,í,ó and ú?

A, AO, O etc

>a bunch of fucking lines

I don't know, honestly. I've brought it up with Poles on Jow Forums before and they always mention that they have stuff like ś and that using š would complicate things or something. Half the unique sounds that other Slavic languages use sound the same to me, like you couldn't just use the same letter for sz, š and ś.

WTF? I've never seen this before, and I've seen weird stuff like Berber or the Ethiopian scripts. It's actually quite interesting.
