Why did I even go to college
Other urls found in this thread:
i would pay $40k for a two week trip in a train car like that in the snow and darkness. just comfy, warm tea, some whiskey and a fur blanket. fuuuuuuuck that would be nice.
Going to college unironicaly opened your eyes and made you realize that bitcoin, eth and chainlink is the way of the future and you should stock up on as much as you can. That student loan will perish EOY
lol. i make 20k a month 70k student loans school is a scam.
similar circumstances but 29yo
see you in the next expansion/classicwow fren
you will never make it as a link fag....which also makes me happy/comfy. gl
How did you get into the position? Computer Engineer soon-to-be grad here. I want to do freelance work but how do I get clients? How do I build a reputation?
How do I make big bucks like this on the side while I go to grad school?
When the fuck is classic wow coming out? I've been playing private servers
I watched like 4 videos on YouTube and now I just go to UpWork and find clients
Spend 2-3 hours a day prospecting clients that need SEO services. Such as your local roofing contractors. If they aren't on Google Maps, or are on the second page of Google, if you can sell, they'll pay you $1k-$2k per month.
Then just outsource all the work to SEO firms for ~400 per month. Or just do the work yourself. Up to you.
I iron napkins and have 80k+ student loans. What coin should I invest in?
Was announced Nov 2017 but limited info since other than they're working on it and it's happening.
Considering the time between expansions and the fact BFA is about to launch meaning they'll hopefully dedicate more resources to classic wow after BFA launch....I'd say Q2 - Q3 next year hopefully the earlier.
I feel the same way, i got through 3/4 of masters before i realised it wasnt going to take me anywhere I wanted to go.
Now I'm in a similar situation to you, making bank but regretting university haha
Hi OP,
I'm a 21 year old NEET who didn't go to college bur also doesn't know wtf to do in life, can you give me some tip to help me get into a better position monetarily like you?
Also there is nothing wrong with playing WOW Henry Civil played it (probably still does) and is a huge gamer.
dont lie you know you got that job cuz college
either by experience/knowledge/connections
with that salary you can pay off the debt in 1-2 years
(Not OP)
You need to figure out what you're good at. Everyone has their skill set, regardless how much of a NEET you are. Just figure out what that is. Maybe you need to do some self education on webdesign or in the IT area, maybe set up a business you can run easily.
Spend a week brainstorming it
Because you probably wouldn't have been hired for your SEO job without a diploma. It's getting to the point where it's turned into a fucking guild and self-taughts with decades of experience occasionally get glossed over cause muh degree.
Trans siberean express fren
Are you retarded? If OP isnt larping then he is self employed and finds potential clients that need a boost in SEO. Thats where he comes in and pitches the ability to solve their need for better SEO. If you have sales experience you can just sell it/find clients and then outsource it to people who actually do the work and you profit off the difference.
How do you go about prospecting potential clients? And did you do any paid courses that were shilled on youtube aka Tai Lopez lol.
I just took an associates in IT plus a couple sys admin certs.
Making a cool 6 figs as a linux sys admin for a big company, just finished paying off my student loan debt after 2 years too.
which certs
if you do "client seo", you dont do it for any amount of money per month, you're just another freelancer
youtube.com
got to norway for maximum /comfy/
ahhhhh it looks too nice! buying tickets now. thanks amigo
>I do client SEO for $12k per month
top kek, this isn't 2001 bucko
How to figure out what you are good at though
1st year college got full ride cs meme degree with info assurance focus what should i do friends
I just went with the comptia's
Net+ for sure
Sec+ is required for anything needing a security clearance and I live near DC soooo...i grabbed that one too
How many months have you been doing this? How many clients are sticking with you or is there churn?
You have to try shit.
As I said brainstorm it and figure out what you would be interested in, what are you currently good at doing, what do you want to do, etc
this. what morons are falling for this, lol
Is it bullshit?
>hired
I freelance
I have bought paid courses and I could honestly say that I haven't been disappointed with the "cereal entrepreneur academy" his is more for social media marketing but I like his style of teaching. he's clear and to the point. You don't need to buy a course like that though. all the information is already out there, it's up to you if you want to pay the fee for the convenience of having it all under one place.
It's 2018 and now SEO is even more in demand. More startups are coming out more than ever. It's easier than ever to set up a website these days and now every boomer wants to hop on board. I'm just riding the wagon
About 6 months now. there's some minor churn. All depends on the client. I'm constantly searching for new clients to come on board. It never hurts to keep that pipeline full
This picture makes me wanna take a trip on a luxury train.
You could do that anytime you want for less than 1/50th of that, what's stopping you
>associates degree
>couple of generic certs
>6 figure admin job for big company
this goes against everything i've heard about IT, arent you supposed to slave away at a help desk for a year or two and then hopefully move into a $50-65k'ish job? How the hell did you get that cake job with fairly non-impressive qualifications?
How are you charging? By the hour or per task, etc? Any advice for this? Are most clients totally clueless about Seo?
I get paid Monthly. Clients will pay around $900-2.5k depending on the person.
Reoccurring invoicing through PayPal. There's two kinds of clients:
1) those who know how to do SEO, but can't be fucked to spend their time on it
2) Absolutely clueless people
the type of shit you can do when you sold in december or january
>PayPal
Upwork pays to your PayPal? Or do you take them off upwork for billing?
Because of all those sick parties with your bros and hot teen pussy you got there.
Wait, user... You did do that right
>>I do client SEO for $12k per month
fuck man you're rich
I usually onboard the client after our first UpWork milestone. Less fees for them, less fees for me
I didn't tell you about the 11k worth a month I spend on Cocaine and Kombucha
>cocaine and kombucha
Write offs.
Is the seo mostly like google places or are you manually link building, etc?
hello
my kin
seo brainlet here - what does recurring SEO work involve? putting a company on google maps would be a once and done thing I assume, what’s the recurring part?
anyway sounds comfy op. i do about 20 minutes of plc programming a week and get paid for 38 hours kek
>putting a company on google maps would be a once and done thing I assume, what’s the recurring part?
This
What kind of rates do you get your client for AdWords? The company I work for is paying google $6 a click ATM and it seems kind of high.
Absolutely not. That's what most companies actually believe, which is why their SEO sucks. SEO is a constant thing. Every other competitor is constantly building links to their business so they outrank everyone else. It's a literal rat race
I charge a 20% management fee on top of their Monthly budget. i.e. if someone wants to spend $1000 a month on Google Adwords, I'll charge $1,200
I'm a backend dev but I have no clue about SEO. What would you recommend for someone who wants to get into SEO? Any resources?
>Why did I even go to college
College dropout here. Sometimes I ask that myself when I 99% of everything I learned was through search engines and various websites
Actually a lot of college now consists of them teaching morons how to do just that.
Great info on YouTube for free
okay OP is larping. I was bluffing, OP doesnt know shit about SEO.
Sounds like a pretty good life at 25. Prepay those Jewdent Loans post-haste and see you in BfA.
>Seasoned elder 34 year old WoW player
Sounds like dealing with clients and managing pajeets on upwork would take more than just 3 hours a day. Are you just exaggerating op
>Then just outsource all the work to SEO firms
What firms do you typically outsource to?
holy fuuuuck can you bring vidya on it and have your own little room?
I haven’t done seo in years after my pbn got deindexed. Money is getting tight so it looks like I might have to go back. What’s good for outsourcing nowadays.
>I do client SEO for $12k per month
>$60k in student loans
pay off your loans now user
im 40, im a total fucking loser janitor. but got a girlfriend woo hoo.
How difficult were those to achieve? Timespan?
do this if you're a thicko.
that $60k is better put into crypto, leave it for 5 years and come back to pay your loan with your gains + you'll retire.
nice larp, you got 1 job freelancing and now u think ur tough shit lmao
I'm good at SEO and would like to do this but there are so many pajeets you have to compete with on Upwork. Also, how does the reporting work? Do they expect you to show all the work you did or do you just show them their search rankings once per month?
You playing on Northdale? Been thinking about jumping back in recently while I wait for classic WoW
spoonfeed pls
Why do you retards fall for these larps. Do you really think companies are paying incels $12k/m to keyword stuff .html files?
Bruh, vanilla private servers have the best chat. The barrens chat is like Jow Forums lite.
I want to start doing work on upwork as a side hustle. I'm thinking freelance writing and editing jobs. I have no real world experience but I know i'm capable. How do i pad my profile to get hired?
Lol
Thank you for your input.
