TSLA call spreads still available
just bought October 400/420 for $500, it'll pay $2000 when the deal goes through
Road needs to go up like 52 cents for me to be happy. I don't think that's going to happen today but I knew this was going to be a long haul, nothing moves slower than construction.
I thought you fucking sold I seriously hope you're not still holding anything above half your GPRO
Cause you were right for a good period before you were wrong and that's all you need, I hope you're meming
Joshua Scott
even if kids like you are right which they never are (love when you fail) im just buying even more on a dipto retire over your worthless body within 5 years

less luck w options, but higher returns
Xavier Long
put 90% of your investment account in buy-and-hold-forever index ETFs, take the remaining 10% and gamble with options
I bought tsla stock because I can’t into options. How the fuck does this even work? You spent $500 but is that your maximum downside if you expect $1500 upside? The part that gets me is I can’t tell if the risk is limited to 100% of the initial cost or not. Very theatrical
you buy the 400 call and sell the 420 call for a total cost of $500
if the price exceeds 420 at expiration you have the whole 400-420 gap, ie $2000, for a gain of $1500. this is Max gain, the trade defines risk and reward.
if Tesla goes to shit you're only out the debit (the $500 initially spent. or in my case $2000 because I bought several)
Oliver Walker
yes with long otions (or debit spreads) the worst you can lose is 100% of the premium
with short/credit ones it gets hairy
dont its a trap
Joshua Roberts
Also for the sand fags lurking here
What makes you think SND is better than HCLP ? SND is small as fuck
In this market in which the entry ticket is cheap, you have to be big to stand a chance and not get undercut. Or, maybe you are expecting SND to get acquired...
Xavier Harris
we still have 40 points to go thats a free 7% on the spxl for you
in theory if you're sure the deal will go through you could sell credit put spreads (or just sell naked puts). I don't quite have the balls for that play myself
if i remember right the idea is that w oil production in the US (mostly fracking) on the rise, there is already not nearly enough sand suppliers around. smaller companies have the potential to land some big contracts if oil continues to increase in production stateside
i havent paid attention at all to TSLA because im relatively certain the stock is worth 0 good luck though
Jaxon Edwards
it's worth $420, if you haven't seen the news
Eli Miller
Its been a long and winding road since february, but Im glad you finally came to your senses
it's the hardest stock to play in the market especially with so many people who think he's a fucking retard betting against you
Thomas Miller
No you see the theory was/is that fracking companies are undersupplied and in the time of undersupply there was a blossoming of what the market saw at a time of prosperity, too many sand miners. That may or may not be true; but SND clawed its way out of losing money every quarter and is showing good signs of an amazing reversal. HCLP has always been more or less profitable and fucking aggressive with its growth and guidance. And dividend. And wanting to convert to C-corp which... I don't really understand it; you're gonna want another sandnigger to explain that one. SND is a new fucking company; but it's making *money*. Which makes it attractive to me to trade. I'll say it again; SND is a shitty stock attached to a good company, which tends to make it undervalued thanks to manipulation and small float %.
Mason Flores
Well today's new positions were BAC which is probably not going to do well for me in the short term as it is near top but I wanted to round out my banks. And X as I do actually think this is a good entry if you plan on hold for at least a year. I'm not yet ready to re-enter steel Dynamics though as price is too close to previous sell. Bought more Ford and ATT which continues to bring down my portfolio, but forever holds. Biggest loser is kraft. And I'm spent till next payday. Trying not to sell of amrs as I know it can make mid teens. Long Zyne as well.
Cooper Cook
2nd-rate SSD manufacturers Jews are going to sue the African American charlatan for saying he wanted to privatize
think to yourself what changed between 380 and 360 on tsla.
It's people thinking its less likely a deal is real because of the time delay
except elon musk already showed you he is fucking with you by the tweet and everything before this
the 2 day delay is meaningless to the odds, but people already took the premium down $20
Adrian Cooper
Honestly the risk was worth it for, that is why I did it. The fucker is going to crash next week. It will move more than 17%, just not in the timeframe expected.
Boomers who are not millionaires basically should never be listened to. Think to how much more money they made on average and the job market. Think of the bull runs and change in stock market.
Any boomer without 1 million liquid they can draw out at any moment is a loser. When you see the upset boomers on zerohedge or whatever just realize they had 1000 opportunities and just had to put a little away and invest wisely.
It's very important to realize what people are totally full of shit fast.
Jose Barnes
you got Robin-jewed
Liam Ward
>autistic ceo >company is in a 10 billion debt >company is constantly losing money. >Autistic shiters now believe that the stock is worth $420 because their autistic ceo said he MIGHT make it go private.
HCLP consistantly making money is what made me like it, as the Bogs seem to like playing with the frack sand price (HCLP contribution margin is currently ~$30 and the average sand price is $70/ton... meaning HCLP will break even if sand price drops to $40/T)
I think HCLP wants to be a C-corp because it wants to keep on growing but by using their FCF.
I will definitely take a look at SND senpai
Jackson Bailey
Damnnn, the bid-ask spread on that fucker is pretty large.
Don't know if you caught the SND earnings, any opinion?
Aaron Brooks
And AMD hit my limit like two hours earlier than expected. Concern. Please go back up AMD.
Logan Thomas
I've sold all my amd at 19.50 and 20.19. probably some algo is tracking what I do, it goes down right after
Cameron Rodriguez
Not yet senpai But I will definitely give a shout out here when I have
Luis Fisher
realized I retarded out after the fact, earnings today and feels like we're already priced into the downside don't think we're beating but if this stock makes any money at all it'll be a good start; might see a little reversal even
Joshua Gonzalez
nice, thanks

Anyone here make algorithms for NP-complete problems for fun?
TSLA is good at this price I think
Juan Ortiz
Take your meds.
Alexander Sanders
been a great day to fade rkg, no follow through for breakouts
Leo Bell
its in the fucking ToS m8 read it RH sells your orders to citadel (MMs) who frontrun you and fuck you
this, really
>growth then where is it? ive known people who worked there m8 its not looking pretty. even the battery manufacturing part, which is generally thought of as the profitable part, is an absolute shitshow
by this time next year, they will have serious competition from tons of other US auto companies, and they are MUCH better at handling these kinds of situations, in addition to being better financed. elons window seemed like a good one, but its closing fast
personally i see the bid for going private as further validation of my initial theory that they are experiencing SERIOUS liquidity issues. and this is reflected in their bonds
Matthew Wood
when do i get my losses back from elon?
Gavin Jones
AMD hit 19.10 yesterday before closing back up at 19.56
this is great to drive prices of SSDs and RAM down
Brandon Rivera
Tax rules have changed making MLP structure less beneficial. Many of them are looking towards converting.
Logan Torres
you really can't look at bonds for a company like TSLA. They work very differently in a growth stock that most people don't understand the upside to with a ton of FUD clouds around it.
