>innocent peasant walking by
>"YEAH KILL'EM"
Why are japanese """people""" like this???
Innocent peasant walking by
they're insectoids with no regard for individual life
Japan isn't like this anymore.
What movie
wow samurai are so honourable. im converting to shinto now
there's literally nothing wrong with killing a random person
This but unironically
how else would you test your sword?
on animals
>random peasants
lmao who gives a shit
this desu famalam just dont get caught
And defile it with the animal blood? The swords are made to cut people, not animals.
only peasants cut animals and it's a different kind of cut anyway, you can't really calibrate on that
seriously though, that TL note isn't accurate. so-called tsujigiri were acting like gangs at that time and testing katana was just one of excuses for them. maybe that term mainly related to testing katana at first but became a term for samurai attacking someone on the road. the english wikipedia page of tsujigiri is misunderding it so he probably just read that.
Imagine failing your daimyo because your sword wasn't properly tested on a peasant and you cause dishonor in a real fight. That's a straight ticket to seppuku.
if anything, they got executed by daimyo when daimyo found it out
Jin (TV drama)
based samurai doing the dirt eating peasant a favor by relieving him of his shitty life
who is your favorite sengoku daimyo japanon? mine is Date Masamune 2bh.
>read about actual japanese swordfighting history
>the stories you even see on wikipedia pages are mostly fiction
>according to historians Miyamoto Musashi was likely just pretty much a gang leader who ambushed other gang leaders with his gang
>the normal katanas you see were just cocky self-defence when samurai walked through town and shit
>actual battles had them using spears and bows like everybody else world over
>Date Masamune
Based. I was born and raised in Sendai (his region)
>there's literally nothing wrong with killing a random person
>Miyamoto Musashi
he became famous mainly because of some novels
buy one cursed samurai sword, then you will understand.
ew
they wouldn't have gotten their fancy dresses dirty with blood just punishing some dude
>it's a different kind of cut anyway, you can't really calibrate on that
This guy gets it.
Japanese kill innocent chinese in unit 731 for which they no apologize and they kill and rape innocent korean women.
those are obviously traditional cutting-a-dude-in-half outfits
Weren't most of them done by high ranking samurais?
