After their whole weapons of mass destruction lie as a pretense to go to war a few years back I find it hard to believe anyone actually buys the bullshit the US government or military states about anything, desu. It's more of here is a situation which could provoke war and here are people who either profit from it and thus want conflict to break out or here are another group of people who hate an ideological hatred of the region (or, let's be honest: a hatred of anything related to Islam) and are willing to latch onto any propaganda they can use to validate their own twisted worldview.
