Jeff Bezos has an estimated wealth of 155 billion USD. His company employs 566000 people world wide.
If you would assume that his wealth accumulated over 10 years, with his company.
You could give every single employee 1200 € extra per month over the 10 years and still end up with 73 Billion USD in wealth.
What I want to show you is, that boomers are the worst generation worldwide.

i miss the times whan the richest man in the world was bill gates with his 50 billions or smth

>You could give every single employee 1200 € extra per month over the 10 years
I'm not sure you could actually because most of that ""money"" of his is unliquid

His wealth isn't in a bank or under a mattress full of banknotes you can just give it away. Why don't socialists understand this?

Who gives a shit? He's getting raped in his divorce and he's ugly as sin. Which shows that the only real privilege is whether you're attractive or not.

No that is only his wealth in form of shares of his company.

...

>spread the wealth man. fuck rich people!

this

Shares wouldn't be worth as much if he was giving it away like this.
And they aren't worth as much now anyway because he can't sell them.

Why yes. Do you know how stock markets work?

you can't sell all your investment at once, at least not him, if you did they won't worth a lot because they are interlinked in the economy

so 150 billion really is just a number on a paper

Okay, take net income and cut a bigger portion of it to the workers.

Wouldn't amazon just be able to do whatever crazy project he wanted to anyway?
Like what is he even restricted from practically achieving?

net profit*

t. tax haven

I'm not a fan of 'spread the wealth', but CEOs really do make too much money.

I dont care if he has wealth of a trillion dollars, but he pays his employers way too less.

I applied for a software engineer job at Amazon. Maybe I'll be able to meet the Man one day. Wish me luck, bros.

His salary as CEO is low. His wealth comes from owning Amazon.

It's a private company they can decide who much they pay. If it were state owned then it'd be a different story

no, every project is another way to make money, the reason why older people who retired can is because that's when their investment start to come out as payable

amazon operate at close margins, they can't afford to lose big on big projects

bill gates dealt in software, the material needed to make it is just human hours

bezoes deals in the transfer of material goods and cloudspace, they are dependent on physical objects that had value before and the value of other companies (stuff in the cloud server)

bezos isn't playing with his own money, he is playing with "rent" money

lol good luck being worked to the ground

>Jeff Bezos has an estimated wealth of 155 billion USD
he should be killed and his wealth should be equally distributed between people of earth

I'd kill for a salary like this, dude.

His wealth isn't from his wage, it's due to stock performance which you can't just give away to your workers

PROLETARIAT OF ALL COUNTRIES, UNITE

Capitalism was a mistake

>mfw I'm not the bitch divorcing him
Life isn't fair lads.

I could have 100 trillion dollars but if I don't use up or lock down actual resources killing me does nothing

just do it then, code monkey aint too hard just boring

weaboo here too uwu

>take net income
Amazon has had more negative quarters than positive ones. Amazon has only started being profitable to long holders of stocks (rather than to the speculators that traded stocks for cash) like 2 years ago. It isn't like those workers were risking their own money on the company, their wages were straight cash; investors swallowed losses over a decade, and their initial investment was paying for those wages without guarantee of return.

Already studying for whiteboard exercises, dude.

And it is a good think. Money isn't supposed to be liquid. It damages it's quality. I thought French have better education than us.

leetcode or hackerrank? what is better ? i want to code my cheats in CSGO as a pro

The idea that a person who makes 1 billion dollars per year works 20,000 times harder than a person who makes 50,000 per year is honestly insulting. The janitors at my school are some of the hardest working people I've ever known, but they probably make less than minimum wage. Does that sound fair to you?

>but they probably make less than minimum wage
No they don't

money is liquid, that's the point, an illiquid money is a type of asset that cannot easily be converted into cash, ie when you pour the content of illiquid into another container 3/4 of it turn into vapor

Under age b&

it's illegal for janitors to work that little, a school is a public institution so believe it or not they get like teachers wages, unless you are in private school

His school didn't teach him what "minimum" means.

No shit man.

I'm gonna go dig a ditch in the middle of nowhere with a plastic spoon. Pay me because I worked hard.

Never give a foreigner the benefit of doubt

Why haven't Roombas replaced janitors yet?

most of the time janitors clean surfaces roombas cannot clean, it is easier to replace programmers than janitors

I'm at a public university. The janitors are probably illegal immigrants.

They do maintenance too
That would be illegal, I highly doubt this happens at your school

illegal maybe, but not below minimum wage

Just force the kids to clean the school, retards.

Because sweeping the vomit of Juan Tyrone is the same as negotiating business deals with leaders of the world and other businesses. You know what the janitor can do after 8 hours of work? Go back home, crack open a beer and relax for the rest of the day. You know what a CEO can do after 8 hours of work? Work an additional 8 hours.

ur all agayy

nobody gives a shit about how hard anybody works. you could stack up rocks and push them down over and over again and it would be hard work but still useless. assuming fair play all his wealth means is that he is more efficient at allocating ressources than others. a capitalist system is set up so that he gets richer because of that increased efficiency allowing him to allocate more ressources and so it goes on and on. wherever its a person, a group of people or someday some ai that does it matters little.
as long as he is playing fair his wealth is wealth he generated, hard work or not. wherever or not he is playing fair, e.g. observing laws and not doging taxes is something else entirely.
