They are pretty simple, just resistance & support values, sort of like SMAs. The security will 'bounce' between the current support and resistance level (IE a channel) while the market is deciding what they want to do. Once a candle's low or high breaks through the resistance/support, it is a weak sell/buy signal. This becomes a strong signal when the candle is fully seated beneath or above the support/resistance line. This affect is easily seen when using HA candles.
In chart you can see that the opening 15 minutes of today broke through S1, S2, and S3. However, S3 was not fully broke, and did not break 30 minutes into the market. Hence, you see the rally that we have had. We are not trading in between S3 & S2, with S3 acting as support, and S2 acting as resistance. We are seeing attempt to break resistance currently, but it doesn't look like it will happen until Trump tweets something.

Shares of NTDOY are worth a set amount of 7974.T shares, it's basically the same thing as buying it on the Tokyo Stock Exchange but more convenient.
Other Japanese companies have secondary listings on the NYSE / NASDAQ like Sony (SNE), Honda (HMC), and Toyota (TM).

Ah, well that sucks. I had a global trading account with Etrade but never really used it so I closed it out. When I used Interactive Brokers I also had the option to trade on just about any market I wanted to. It was more of a novelty though and I reverted back to just trading US stocks because there's more than enough to choose from just on the US markets so I didn't see the need to trade on foreign markets as well.
