bay area, 1500 dollar rent, a single room of an apartment.
Noah Foster
that would only be the case if the cost of living was exactly the same...
Aaron Myers
>mfw I'm renting out a one bedropm apartment for 200€, utilities included I should raise the price, but the guy has been renting the place for years and I haven't had a single issue with him.
700 Euro is almost 4 times the minimum wage here and more than 90% of the population makes in a month working 44 hours a week, so probably 700 Euro.
Juan Foster
>rent 250-300 euro >utilities 75 >groceries 200 >0 for health insurance >30 euros for a public transit card idk about entertainment, if you're a videogame playing cocksucker, you'd pay the same as in Germany
Oliver Carter
looks comfy >ywn be an unemployed german living in a comfy city with other unemployed people
Liam Lee
I pay 1580 p/m for 76 square meters with a sauna and balcony
Jaxson Lopez
pretty much the same except rent where I live is about 600
Levi Long
650 rent and utilities 150 groceries 50 entertainment
Dominic Diaz
Also this pertains to a room in a shared flat
Christian Cruz
40,000 Yen a month (Like 400 USD) with all utilities included. Kinda small though and not cozy.
Caleb Smith
Euro groceries Me spending 50 euros on groceries is already a lot. What the fuck are you eating fatty?
Luke Wood
there are people out there who eat foods other than potatoes and mayo
Brayden James
Groningen >€730 rent - €310 rent assist (€420 netto) >€30 taxes and utilities >€30 internet >Healthcare is reimbursed I spend a lot of money on food, clothing and entertainment. I eat out at least once a week and go to a bar at least three times a week. Having an income is pretty fucking good
Wyatt Parker
On Jow Forums everyone claims to spend €50 a year on food since their parents cook for them and they only buy snacks at the supermarket. I can hardly buy a week worth of groceries for €50
Alexander Garcia
Your health insurance would be covered by the state during your studies, living/transportation costs about the same, you could save a few pennies renting a shitty dorm. >tfw your cost of living in eastern Europe is similar to some germ, but you make half the amount of money.
Good food is expensive. The only way you can save money is by eating very little and being a twink, by eating trash food and being unhealthy, or by eating really monotonous food (e.g. nce meat, rice and beans every meal). If you eat a healthy diet (wide variety of meats, fish, vegetables, fruits and grains), and you need enough food to accommodate lifting weights (i.e. at least 3 good big meals per day), you'll quickly get up to nearly €10/day on just food.
that's obviously on average combined with other things on average
Nathaniel Bailey
They also forget that you buy more than just 1 chicken breast, broccoli and rice when shopping. Often you need spreads for your sandwiches like peanut butter or normal butter. You need fruits, you need trashbags, you need washing powder, you need cooking oil. If you buy any alcohol it'll cost you something, list goes on and on. People claiming they need €50 to survive clearly live with their parents
Gabriel Mitchell
> I can hardly buy a week worth of groceries for €50 yeah, exactly, same. I usually spend 75 euros a week on groceries. The non-trash food is just too expensive.
Jose Rogers
>How much money would I need in your country to live like a German student? About the same desu
Ryan Edwards
400€ Rent,100€ food,90€ insurance. I need 590€ the month in Cuckmany. I m suffering,someone get me out of here.
Cooper Robinson
what do you eat, seriously, is food that cheap in germany? just my lunch costs 90+ a month
Blake Morris
550euro for 40m apartment
Elijah Lee
Hungary is hungry
Alexander Baker
Food is dirty cheap in Germany. They spend only 5-10% of their monthly paycheck to buy food on average.
Connor Hughes
yes food is cheap, even more so when compared to wages on some days I eat nothing but a 750g bag of seasoned potato wedges which costs 1,29 Euro or a bag of this which costs 1,69 Euro or spaghetti with tomato sauce which costs 0,69 Euro
maybe if you the live a normal lifestyle as somebody who works from 9/5 It’s more something like >Rent and utilities 350 - 500* >grocers 50 - 100 >health insurance should be covered under your parents or if you work you’re free from taxation because you don’t earn enough >Rest: you pay 30€ a month for the ticket, don’t need to buy month a new pair of trousers and shouldn’t book Netflix when you can’t afford it, so it’s more to 70€ (and I’m counting paying your Serviceprovider in this bracket and not untities)
Elijah Evans
Lmfao I pay 1,5k for rent alone. Poorfag.
Thomas Lewis
The rentjew got you rly good Opfer. Get back to work, next month he will raise it to 2k shekels
