The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. They have greatly increased the life-expectancy of those of us who live in “advanced” countries, but they have destabilized society, have made life unfulfilling, have subjected human beings to indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffering (in the Third World to physical suffering as well) and have inflicted severe damage on the natural world. The continued development of technology will worsen the situation. It will certainly subject human being to greater indignities and inflict greater damage on the natural world, it will probably lead to greater social disruption and psychological suffering, and it may lead to increased physical suffering even in “advanced” countries.
The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race...
then go live in the woods and die of an infected toe.
>fundamental problems only matter if you know about them
why do mutts praise stupidity and ignorance
ah yes the glories of dying of cholera at 35
I prefer to die young while living a good life than to die old while living a shitty life
nice strawmen
its not a strawman. the dangers of a primitive lifestyle are very real. infection is a constant threat aswell as contaminated water sources.
add to that potential starvation from a very irregular food supply and all your children dying from shitting themselves to death. you dont need to go full retarded primitivist if you find your current livestyle unfullfilling. just move to the countryside, get a job working outside, maybe farmwork or forrestry.
Go live in the forest like a savage. When we want your land we'll come for you.
>have subjected human beings to indignities
oh the good old days of dignified serfdom and slavery. really miss those.
>OMG NOOO natural life is so scary i wanna stay in the city as a corporate urbanite slave and eat food laced with estrogen and toxins and die from carcinogenic agents polluting the environment
