BUSINESS IDEAS THREAD

Anyone have any good business ideas they don't mind sharing?

I don't care what it is... Perhaps something far fetched you won't likely end up doing, but could serve as inspiration for another user. Or maybe something more dependent on the local area, meaning you probably won't get much competition from other anons. Or maybe you're not as hesistant to share. Just looking for any inspo, really. IRL lvl 3 noob here.

Also, already in crypto, and yes, I know about kneepads already, not for me...
Was hoping for a non-crypto oriented discussion.

can elaborate for some crypto

Great job providing data about your idea that would actually incentivize payment from a stranger on an anonymous yodeling enthusiast board. I am so sold by your post, Pajeet! How is your mother doing, by the way? I saw her the other night, and um, nevermind...

Pajeet indeed haha

1) I'm white
2) data market is actually extremely big and you can make money either sitting in your underwear at home or running offices with 666 employees
3) you asked for inspiration
4) your manners doesn't convince me you're right person to share any viable ideas with

What do you mean by data provider?

user, the process leading up to a Eureka moment or finding inspiration to innovate a solution to a new problem is not straightforward.

For a lvl 3 noob cutting his/her teeth my advice would be to look at existing solutions you use/like that have product/market fit and then do it better.

Advantages are you will have an addressable market, a need, customers already using/buying a solution, a price point, a market size and a fairly accurate scope for forecasting development time and budgets.

I like to shitpost and act like a huge faggot sometimes, but you're post was too vague to draw any real information from, and you should already know that pretty much no one here will pay you anything. If you were a known public figure, this could be different, but it just doesn't work this way on anonymous imageboards. We share information freely. If you're not willing, that's cool, but I thought it was clear I was asking anons to share, and not sell, information.

I will keep silent until opfag stands on his knees or send me some crypto (not bcash)
to give some perspective - you can make life of many businesses and entrepreneurs of your area much easier and take your commission. it will take some time and manual labour at the beginning, but after few months you can stop where you are or continue to grow / expand your service to other niches or even countries (depends where you are, us/eu/asia)

I understand, but you should understand as well if there's something viable people won't give it up for free, since we all need shekels to increase quality of our lives / operations

Thanks, user. Indeed, it's not straightforward at all. And that seems like pretty good advice, I would like to do something creative, but reinventing the wheel the first time around probably isn't viable. Looking at existing solutions and seeing what you can do makes sense. I just find it a bit hard to narrow it down and pick something to focus on.

Hey user, ok if you are passionate about creative industries a simple idea you can start is to provide instagram content creation/marketing to local businesses/companies and then track/measure engagement.

There are many SaaS tools with free packages that will do all the tracking & measuring - hootsuite, and sproutsocial just two but look around.

It's people based and creative, more of an agency offering than a tech solution.

Step 1: great looking website (plenty of good templates out there)
Step 2: do the work for the first 5 clients for free for X months.
Step 3: stick their logos and testimonials on your site.
Step 4: start charging all new clients using your first freebie clients as hooks.

Been working in the beverage industry for a decade.
I'm starting up a company in dual industries, with a common brand.
Goal is to sell it to the big guys. AB, CONSTELLATION, MILLECOORS. etc

Learn to repair smartphones and instead of paying rent on a stationary shop, purchase a decent sized van/box truck and drive to the customer to repair their device. You would need another small location (like a spare room in your house) to store excess parts and keep the most common ones in stock on your vehicle.

I hear a print shop can do real well if you don't mind working face to face with computer illiterate boomers. Huge startup costs

By creative I was trying to convey innovative or different (my bad). I do appreciate the suggestion though and have looked into online marketing, but am on the fence about it. Not really my passion, but it does seems like something I'm capable of. I have played with Hootsuie before and made a marketing plan for a local business for a class project before.

I am interested in creative tech solutions and online businesses, perhaps an online store or offer some kind of service. Creating an app or game, or computer software would be really interesting but I would have a lot to learn first. Also have had thoughts about starting a YouTube channel (like so many others) but that would perhaps be a side thing on top of another business, plus I'm also concerned about oversaturation -- I have some video editing experience at least, but haven't done it for awhile so I may be out of touch. One big thing I have considered is Amazon FBA and working with Chinks to create my own branded products, or just finding a really good ready made product to sell. Or just flipping random shit.

Basically, I've had some broad ideas here and there (but no eureka moments), but I haven't found or developed real passion for anything yet, and have a lot to learn.

Thanks for this, sounds kind of neat. I have thought about the electronics repair business, but haven't thought of operating like that. Could be a nice way to start before scaling up later on.

user, sounds to me like you have a great outlook and a real desire to start something up.

Exploring different areas and looking into models is exactly the right approach.

Coming back to an earlier point about Eureka moments is: when you settle on an area and start to get it up and running you will discover lots of friction and pain points along the way - this is where Eureka moments can occur and wouldn't be surprised if you find a more interesting problem to solve amongst this chaos and complexity.

If you haven't, read 'the lean startup' by Eric Ries this is invaluable knowledge.

Best of luck!

Thanks for all of this! Reasurring words. I appreciate your insights and kindess.

Haven't heard of "The Lean Startup" but I looked it up and it seems interesting. Will check it out!
