NVIDIA seems to be the classic case of a bubble waiting to burst. What brokers allow shorting of stocks if the time comes to short this one around?
Shorting stocks
nvidia will always be in demand or we wont ever be able to see in 4d
All of them.
It's really just about how much you have on deposit.
There's always the risk that they develop super-AI and then the stock will rise infinitely.
>muh gaymes
Kek. If you think crypto is just bloatware, you should check out nvidia's "whitepapers" about self-driving cars and AI. They're still in the experimental stage and have no products to show for it. Yes, they earn through video cards and video rendering but the market has been saturated and the earnings for it when crypto dropped have been overestimated. This is going to go back down like all bubbles and overhyped tech that still is in the early stages.
Don't fight a trend, wait for a signal that the bubble has already burst and then short it
what bubble retard. they're dominating the compute industry for AI and autonomous cars
All just vaporware as of this point, much like crypto.
I know, that's why I'm waiting for the signal to enter. MA might be a lagging one but they're decent enough as a "signal" when the next trend occurs.
>hurr muh dominance means I am not overbought
What is P/E?
nasdaq.com
Oh wait, this is Jow Forums. I forgot that retards like you are the majority.
>what bubble retard. they're dominating the compute industry for AI and autonomous cars
Once there are alternatives, training an AI with a GPU will be like mining bitcoin on a laptop.
> compute industry for AI and autonomous cars
It's all experimental. Until they have a working product in the market that is sold, it's all vaporware.
Thing is these are all experimental as of late. Intel is also diving into it but we have no working products for it. It's like crypto in the early stages. All sorts of promises but no working product to show for it. It's all vaporware and this is one of the reasons why this stock will burst, aside from the fact that it's overbought.
theres bigger bubbles out there m8
Doesn't matter, this stock is a bubble too much like crypto.
9 period EMA is a pretty good indicator that a bubble has burst IMO
>Be on Internet forum on computer
>Don't realize NVDA is synonymous with computers
>Think computers will what? Disappear?
Computers are the future, you fucking idiots. Everything will be a computer, and NVDA will have components in an insane amount of shit, even if AI and autonomous cars fail as ideas. If you don't care for NVDA's price then all in MU, but ffs computers aren't a "bubble".
or its just slow growth
A rise of 1097.5% from 2015-2018 is slow growth? In what world and universe?
I mean the stock price will grow slower now and not crash
Kek. What goes up must come down. A 1097.5% growth is NOT natural.
It will "correct" itself (more like burst) once all this hype dies down. See the chart and look at the years 2000-2002 and 2005-2009. Don't say I didn't warn you. This is just prime shorting material.
Stock price chart of those years by the way.
Holy shit. Please tell George Soros about your find. Let's make money together.
Nvidia, like Microsoft, has a monopoly. It's why Microsoft has 80 P/E and still haven't crashed
I shorted them last year when they ate shit, but was smart enough to cover before they fully recovered.
Nvidia are going to release new GPU's anytime soon, and jack up the price. I would wait and see how hot they are (given no cards in 2 years, if it's a massive perf jump that gives people cards that can run 4k @ 120hz, you're going to get a lot of high end gamers making the jump with high margin cards, in which case they'll have a strong quarter or two, if it's a business as usual 30% jump, it's not enough perf for high end users to jump to high res AND refresh, 10 series was unique in it allowed for both 4k @ 60hz, 1440p & 1080p @ 120hz+ & made gaming laptops fucking amazing because of power efficiency, if the new cards don't provide any meaningful jumps to a new 'standard' (4k 120hz+ is the next jump for gaming), shit won't sell like the 10 series).
No harm in waiting a few weeks, you can gauge off the release & monitor stock levels of cards at resellers, compare that to 10 series (where shit was sold out for months & nothing to do with crypto at the time), you can short it before the next quarter results then.
Intel will dominate for years to come and so will nivdia
cnbc.com
Microsoft's CEO just unloaded a part of his shares. If that's not an indication that the bubble is about to pop at any moment, I don't know what is.
