Europeans gaze around them, a multitude of people with their own language, culture and traditions. Us? On one side the ocean, on the other, anglos as far as the eye can see.
Europeans gaze around them, a multitude of people with their own language, culture and traditions. Us...
Tu oublies St Pierre et Miquelon.
C'est assez vexant je dois dire.
Well consider yourself lucky you kept speaking French it’s made immigration quite hard for non francophones
No other big city in America is as white and European as Montreal or Quebec
Montréal will be minority french canadian soon and Québec is making sure to be the same.
lol
Then move to Gaspe or Rimouski lol
>No other big city in America is as white and European as Montreal or Quebec
yeah, no...Quebec as changed a lot in the last few years, many north africans emigrated, including some asians, Latinos and obviously Haitians.
Yep, almost never saw non whites 20 years ago. Now it's full of niggers and arabs.
>106433457
have sex
Yeah it's fucking ridiculous, it's like Québec city got properly invaded, make me sick desu
What a serendipitous coincidence then that half of Africa speaks French
Resist oh sons and daughters of France!
Stop reminding me.
I fucking hate you frogs, you lost the war and your little midget Emperor abandoned you, now you think you have the gal to act all nationalistic, be happy you're not part of USA or you would meet the same faith as your brothers in Lousiana
And who are you? A canadian on vacation?
quebec city is still 90% white you cringe faggots
i'm from montreal and barely noticed any non-whites
Just outbreed them? Québec was once known for his women with 17 children... that's twice what they manage even in Niger.
quebec abandoned the catholic church and can never go back to that
Bullshit you don't notice non whites in Montréal.
Brittain literally bought French in north america and new france for a spice plentation on an island populated by a hand full of negro slaves.
FYI
And the rest of Africa speaks american
in montreal, you notice the non whites as the city is only like 60% white, in quebec, they're almost invisible because it's still 90% white. i saw more fucking chinese tourists than africans or arabs
pretty good deal if you ask me
The fuck?
Canada was exchanged for Guadeloupe in the Treaty of Paris of 1763, under the reign of King Louis XV.
I suppose you're referring to Napoleon? he wasn't even born at the time.
>serendipitious
THEY GOT SOLD FOR A TINY ASS ISLAND IN CARIBBEAN
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA TRUDEAUISTS BTFO
Sugar islands were more valuable than Canada which produced nothing of value (except fish, but this kept going on because St Pierre & Miquelon remained French), and nobody from France wanted to move there, so the colony was going nowhere.
Also, as of today Guadeloupe is still a part of France while Canada no longer is part of England.
So it was the right choice, both short and long term.
>Asteur tu passes devant une classe de maternelle pis c'est noir en esti.
ça se passe pas en montreal dehors de montréal-nord peut-être. la region métropolitain de montréal est environ 80% blanc. ce n'est pas comme ça dans le reste de ce continent
That area did get invaded, by wh*tes
to be fair we sold New York City for......Suriname
to be fair if France had kept Quebec it would probably still be a province of France
Imagine how powerful we would be...
yeah that would have made france the only european power to hold onto a significant colony
The thumbnails looks like two großgermanicus kids
You got fucking conquered mate. Anglo Canada fucked over the indigenous people but never conquered them; they just gave them friendship treaties then proceeded to swindle them.
But yall got conquered.
>souverainisme party forms quebec legislature
>unilateral declaration of independence with no referendum
>military alliance with france, both leave NATO
>invasion of maritimes for clay and to liberate les acadiens
We still speak french 300 years later and you give us money.
Hm I spend a lot of time here it seems
True.
But, remember that war was the umpteenth Anglo-French war and certainly not thought to be the last, in fact the duc de Choiseul who negotiated the peace fully expected another war during his lifetime, during which Canada could be taken back.
Of course, some years later the Revolution overthrew the Kings and then, dynastic wars became a thing of the past.
You just have to secede from Canada, make another referendum to apply to join France, et voilà, you'll be French again amidst much celebration on this side of the Atlantic.
Mayotte voted to be French and not Comorian, and now they're in.
ugh....
Yeah but you shits squander that money.
You literally managed to have roads worse than third world countries I've driven through.
I know, there's an asphalting cartel in place. Doubt the Charbonneau commission did much to help. They could easily build concrete road that would last for ever, but the italian crooks and kikes politicians would lose their jobs. So each few years they remake shitty tar roads that get ruined by the frost on tax payers account.
France could have held on to a large part of Africa, and what bits of India it still had. Most African countries were given the choice to stay or become independent, and (much to the embarrassment of the French government), several opted to remain.
Gabon even formally applied to join France after it became independent!
But the truth is, most territories would have been a burden if the sizable populations had been given full citizen status and welfare rights. Which was the only politically viable thing in the 1960s.
So, France kept what was both profitable and willing to stay.
this is why your pseudo mafia country literally run on gibs, hydro in inuit territory and corruption can't run a country.
face it, you need us.
Détrompes-toi.
What do you mean exchanged? We captured both of them during the war. We stupidly gave one of them back to you in the hope it would prevent future conflicts.
You'd like some diversity eh? We've got just the things, millions of it actually. You can have it all for free just ask.
But of course, no French President will ever encourage the independence of Québec.
It would be meddling in the affairs of a democratic country (no question Canada is that), and a formal ally to boot (both Canada and France are NATO members today, agreed to defend each other against aggression as per Article V).
We would give them a lot of flak for that, just like we would if they encourage Wallonie to split from Belgium.
But all the same, if Québec (or Wallonie for that matter) ever asks to join France, there would be a referendum here, and accepting the proposal would easily win.
The custom then was that everybody grabbed what they could during the war, and peace negotiations (once one or both sides had run out of money) decided who would keep what.
As you can imagine, France favored acquiring territory on its border in Europe rather than stuff all over the world.
Better to get Alsace forever than America for 20 years.
>in the hope it would prevent future conflicts.
The Kings of England started calling themselves King of France as well (not without legal ground too) in 1340 and only stopped doing so in 1801, after it became apparent their prospects of ever conquering France were bleak.
In 1763, they were still considering that France was theirs and thus, the King of France was an usurper. This ensured neverending war, although necessity forced periods of peace to recover for the next round.
