What's the situation in Brazil? Brazil is a big country and just like it's different in South Dakota compared with New York, or Malmö compared with Kiruna, there must be some underlying thoughts about the general state of Brazil.
Is it safe to be in Sao Paulo or Brasilia as a white man or do you get robbed/attacked often?
What is the situation for German-Brazilians? Do they enjoy it in Brazil? Do they still speak German? Do some leave Brazil for Europe?
What is things that we might know of Brazil that you can share?
Here in Scandinavia it is very popular to be in nature ie taking walks or camping. Is that something that you do or is it too risky to be out in nature by yourself in case that you meet the favela bois?

Most of the country is shit criminalistic-wise, but has nice food and culture. Come to countryside Santa Catarina, we have low crime, good german and italian food and dances and are not black, so its more pleasing to the eye.
The german brazilians in here (santa catarina) still speak german (though its not many), its even taught in public schools here (in SC), yes some leave for europe too. We are a really diverse country mein amigo, don't see brazil as a mexico or guatemala Things are different depending on where you go. Here you can walk and camp and shit (where I live), you might get robbed but that's quite rare. On rio de Janeiro, it's full of niggers so as always never let your guard down. Legally we can own like 5 now, bolsonaro just changed the laws google it up it will probably come pretty neat for you

Any more questions feel free to ask. Currently i'm drinking a Chimarrão, or more widely-know in the americas, Yerba Mate. Also learning german in duolingo after I quit french for being too annoying.
>What's the situation in Brazil? Brazil is a big country and just like it's different in South Dakota compared with New York, or Malmö compared with Kiruna, there must be some underlying thoughts about the general state of Brazil.
The main internal divisions are shown on the image. North and Northeast are shitty tier; Centro-Oeste is ok; South and Southeast are top tier (excluding Rio, which is shitty).
>Is it safe to be in Sao Paulo or Brasilia as a white man or do you get robbed/attacked often?
>What is things that we might know of Brazil that you can share?
You can live quite well if you're rich.
>Here in Scandinavia it is very popular to be in nature ie taking walks or camping. Is that something that you do or is it too risky to be out in nature by yourself in case that you meet the favela bois?
favela boys in nature? That's a fucking retard question. "To be in nature" is not uncommon. There's plenty of nature here, from beaches, deserts (or almost that), the Amazon, the Atlantic Forest (I've been to some caves there, it's nice), Fernando de Noronha, Lençóis Maranhenses (check them, very cool) and much, much more.
>Can you own guns and if so what kind of guns?
By the momment you may OWN (but keeping in your house) pistols and some other kinds of "simpler guns"
I have been practing for unh i don't know 1 month, maybe more? German is easy, it seem hard but its easy actually. Only annoying thing is DIE DAS DER and the endings on pronouns and other shit thats fucking hateful. Specially that accusative (en) ending for Der

Googled and the first that came up was the casa Moellmann. Based German architecture.
How many % would you say would pass as white in Europe that lives in SC?
Do Brazilians have strong connections to Portugal?
Can you own AR-15's?
Since you're the only country in South American who speaks Portuguese - how do you view the Spanish speaking countries?
Any interesting facts about Brazil that you want to share?
Actually, for the third question, I'd like to say that we're an extremely diverse country (as a sulistabro said, we're not Mexico or some shit like that), and there are places that are REALLY shitty and some which are very good to live.

>You can live quite well if you're rich ~This. user, if you only go on rich areas, you'll never see a negro or worry about getting robed.
Everyone who is not mixed with niggers or indigenous people so I'd say at least 100%. On Florianópolis, (capital) whites are mostly mixed, though this city is like fucking new york, people all over from brazil come to stabilish here, its crazy. The original population mostly came from Açores, but some of them did mix a bit. They were portuguese-looking and had a "fishing" culture.
If you go on small cities and ones like Pomerode or Blumenau, Joinville you can find mostly whites, german or north italian looking people.
>strong connections to Portugal ~not really Not even history-wise, this country is like America, devoid of race and identity on most part, but whereas the US has no real culture anymore, we are really steaming with it. So, nobody cares if we descend from portuguese or niggers or whatever Consider that most of the population has low iq anyway and we are just like a cock-sucking third world country that wants to be like America, so...
Can you own? I have no fucking idea. Yes you can but unless you're rich, right now its just so much bureocracy it's just too hard. But like I said, things are changing so, the president may undo the damage the previous commie admnistrations did before.
Idk, spanish is annoying on my opinion, but when it comes to the countries they are in a similar status to ours so there's not much difference. Specially when talking about la mestizaje.
It seems like peanuts come from this country.
Matthew Wilson
South Brazil is basically a less cold Switzerland.
Only difference is that we are really country-like so don't expect any complexity or anything, you can see the streets are really simple. People live quite simple here.
Caleb Fisher
But they can't speak german anymore? If yes then they shouldn't keep the german architecture it feels wrong to have non-germans with that
Nathan Rogers
We do, but it's less than 10% on the bigger cities. I'm making that up, but i'm pretty sure it's not more than 10%. It doesn't feel wrong, don't say that, we preserved the culture, remember: we came before 2 world wars mate. We are uncucked. We even supported nazism. Not me though as i'm north-italian.
Henry Williams

>Consider that most of the population has low iq anyway and we are just like a cock-sucking third world country that wants to be like America, so...
But on the other hand you've got some big ass women.
I have two friends who've been to Brazil. One friend said some Brazilians ran after him and shouted "Alleman! Alleman!". He's extremely blonde and blue eyes. When travelling in a car his Brazilian friend told him to lie down in the car so that they wouldn't be robbed because he said that they robbed white people. He thought it was creepy. Another one went to Reciepe or something like that and on the beach young kids went to him and did a gesture with their hands and mouth. He thought, naive as he is, that they wanted to brush his teeth(!) so he said "No thank you". This was very funny because he found out later that the boy wanted to suck him off for money. Insane.
>What's the situation in Brazil? Brazil is a big country and just like it's different in South Dakota compared with New York, or Malmö compared with Kiruna, there must be some underlying thoughts about the general state of Brazil.
yea you're right! nice to see a gringo knowing that much. The situation... is pretty varied across this continental-sized country, but I guess the main thing we all share in common is that corruption is widespread and cultural and that affects our politics and shit. Also, big cities are always infested with muggings, some are better than others, but it seems to be a rule of thumb. It's always contained to bad areas usually, tho some cities are pretty crazy with that. Murder stats are overrated, I know it seems scary, but it ain't like what you imagine. And I'm from Rio, so that says a lot.
In summary: the North of brasil is akin to the old west; the Northeast is feudalistic europe with powerful local dukes and barons by other names, just imagine a modern version of that; the Southeast is a microcosm of the US, an industrialized nation with a huge economy, strong agri sector, a strong banking and services sector, lots of poverty, both inner city and rural. the South is a lot like europe - civilized, developed, but facing serious issues where it integrates with the rest of the country. The southeast has more opportunities and a stronger economy akin to NA, but the south is just... more chill?
>Is it safe to be in Sao Paulo or Brasilia as a white man or do you get robbed/attacked often? Yea, those are some of the chillest big cities. São Paulo is weird because its our biggest city and it's safe af in comparison to other major capitals like Rio or Porto Alegre.
>What is things that we might know of Brazil that you can share? Really really nice country to live in if you're upper middle class and above. Like, easily one of the best. This isn't a "lol its nice to live here if u rich" thing by the way, it goes beyond that.

Oh yeah, dude the parts with the non-whites are crazy. Everybody who is non-iberian looking here or that has blonde hair/blue eyes is simply called Alemão (a-leh-maumn) or Russo (ru-soh). guess what WE GOT FUCKING ROBBED LIKE FUCKING CLOCKWORK DUDE. around niggers never relax they see somebody different, they know we have got money, we are high value prey to them. Russiand and Polskis moved to Brazil too? Real Slavic people or jews?
There was a TV-show where a Danish man traveled to Brazil to explore Brazilian culture and you had a name for women who had transformed their body with plastic surgery. Don't remember if the term was "siliconas" or something like that.

A little fun fact is that the world's greatest vert skateborder is Brazilian/Swedish. Bob Burnquist.

There seems to be a few Scandinavians among you too.
"In Curitiba, one of the first Scandinavian of note to arrive was Alfredo Andersen, an artist who arrived towards the end of the 19th century and painted well into the 1930s. The Museu Alfredo Andersen contains much of his work, located in Paraná (state).[4] In addition, Icelandic immigrants settled there in 1863 and again in 1873.
Probably the largest concentration of Swedish immigrants in Brazil is located in the area of Missões in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul, where in the late 1800s 200 Swedish families moved to the city of Guarani das Missões.
Examples of this immigration is the Karlson House (Casa Sueca) in Guarani das Missões, the Svenska Kulturhuset in the district of Linha Jansen (Farroupilha, RS), the Mission of Örebro in Venancio Aires, RS. Swedish cultural groups include the Ovenska Danser ballet of Ijuí, RS and the Ballet Patrícia Johnson of Bento Gonçalves, RS.
In April 2010, the City of Nova Roma, RS celebrated the 120th anniversary of the Swedish immigration to the city. Earlier, in 1991, the city of Ijui, RS celebrated the immigration of the Scandinavians to their city (mainly Swedes) with the opening of a Swedish Cultural Center in the city.
There was also significant immigration of Swedish and Danish citizens to São João da Boa Vista, in the state of São Paulo.[5]
In the 1920s, Danish immigrants in rural parts of Aiuruoca laid the foundation for the modern Brazilian cheese production."

Most of fold do speak german, but since we where farmers for so long, our vocabulary was quite small, something like 300 words. All new words are actually Portuguese spoken in a German way. Also, very few of us can read or write in german, because the teaching of german was forbidden in 44 when brazil join the war and many books where burned because patriotism. And yes, many leave Brazil. I meet a shitload of people who travel to Germany in a yearly bases. I know at less some 50 people who have German and Brazilian passport. >What is things that we might know of Brazil that you can share? People are super friendly. I really enjoy getting up in my motorcycle and ride around the country side. >Can you own guns and if so what kind of guns?
Yes, we can own guns (we always did, but was more difficult to get). Pretty much any common pistol or shotgun is allowed for home defense. The act of carry a gun is still in a grey area, the new president (Bolsonaro) did make a lot of changes in the constitution to allow it.
