Which European country is the most unwelcoming to American tourists?
Finland probably
Hitchhiked around Europe when I was 19 or 20. Most people in most places don't really mind whether you're from the United States, Colombia or Korea. However, as an American, you're likely to be on the receiving end of simple-minded stereotypes. For instance, in Germany, I was constantly bombarded with questions along the lines of, "How do you feel about gay marriage?" and "Why does the Second Amendment still exist?" Oftentimes they'd be amazed that I wasn't a gun-toting cowboy who hated queers and couldn't spot Syria on a map.
TBQH I've no desire to return to Europe anytime soon. It's a beautiful place with a lot of history, but I prefer Latin America and Poo countries in South Asia. More pollution and crime, but the average person is far friendlier and less likely to look at other people with autistic disdain (e.g., Northern Europeans, who've personalities as bleak and bland as their weather).
Isn't gay marriage still illegal in Germany?
Germany
I used to make fun of this roastie foreign exchange student from Germany calling her a nazi
So she convinced my gf to break up with me
Maybe Serbia.
Do you think the second amendment is a good idea though
> Some Colombian flairs aren't Colombian
Please get a proxy Matthew, I appreciate that you like the country but only true Congolombians should go through the indignity of posting with this flag of shame.
I don't think the need for a "well-armed militia" exists anymore. All the same, the gun lobby in the United States is far too large--there's no way, at least in modern times, that Congress could repeal the Second or enact strict regulations on private firearm ownership.
However, I do think it'd be practical and wise to ensure that certain kinds of firearms and firearms accessories are either impossible to purchase or can only be purchased after acquiring training and permits.
If I'm in Colombia, why would I get a proxy to pretend to be in another country?
Slovenians absolutely loathe US and its government, but likes their tourists.
France
Thats nice
No you love us
>100 bolivares (enough to wipe your ass) have been deposited to your account
I agree with this. With my various vacations in Mexico, Peru and Brazil. The people are usually very friendly and always seem incredibly happy when i try to speak Spanish to them (Excluding Brazil, i only know simple phrases).
But on my trips to the UK, Spain, France and Germany, the people tend to try and act superior and always ask questions of my nations international policy, they don't seem to grasp that we have no control over it whatsoever, and either act surprised if i give an educated answer, or just walk away when they don't get what they want to hear.
By the way, what are some nice places to visit in Colombia? I have some friends from there, but i have never gotten around to visiting, except for a layover flight
not him but bogota, medellin and cartagena are very american friendly cities and there are quite a few at all times around here, so you won't feel alone unless you are particularly bad at socializing
France easily. They hate foreigners and tourists, despite tourism making up a huge part of their economy.
I didn't meet anyone who was as rude and obnoxious as the memes like to say. I think Northwestern Euros were probably the least friendly and were quickest to ask stupid questions, though. It seemed like everyone in the Netherlands wanted to know what I thought about Trump, which got annoying.
The nicest people I met were in Albania. That place is filled with old ladies who are obsessed with making you dinner.

That's awesome. Did you take them up on it and what do you offer in return?
that sounds like the rest of the world
Tumors of Russia probably.
No:(
