A group of irresponsible adolescents tried to overthrow the most effective regime in the world and they did not succeed, period.

When China eventually invade your shitty desert country, you can bet your ass that your social score will be prepared accordingly.

tank inspection day

I'm fapping watching a documentary about Tiananmen Square protests.

The weak should fear the strong

Who here actually agrees with the principles of the Tiananmen protesters and wants a free and democratic China, or are you just here to shitpost about how insectoids should be exterminated?

What really bugs me is that many reports talks about thousand of dead people yet the best photo they show you is a photo of like OPs pic which shows only line of tanks on a road and few tiny lines of people sitting on a road.

I do

Dunno, I don't actually know much about the event in general. Can I get a quick rundown?

>he seriously believes in """"DEMOCRACY"""

I wish Taiwan could overrun the whole place and restore Republican rule. The CCP has only fear and wealth to offer the people. Once the latter disappears, their rule is much less appealing.

no one does. we just shitpost, because we are insecure

>Is real

>Political and economic reforms were introduced in China during the 80s
>Students in particular began to see it as an opportunity for further political reforms and liberalisation.
>Student demonstrations took place in 1986 in favour of political reforms.
>Hu Yaobang, who was the General Secretary of the CCP at that time, did not intervene as he was sympathetic to the protestors.
>Hu Yaobang dismissed by his party and later dies in April 1989.
>Students mourn for Hu in Tiananmen Square.
>Escalates into mass demonstrations in favour of political reforms across China.
>Martial law was declared in May, but the actual massacre in Tiananmen Square took place on 4th June.
>Crackdowns on protests across China as well.
There's less than 2 days before the 30th anniversary.

I'm no economist, but given how China has thrived on trade with foreign countries, the current trade war may have other unintended but possibly desired effects as well.

Are there still Chinese like this?

There will undoubtedly be. There will always be those who have either lived through history or inherited the memories of their elders.
History can never be completely erased from human conscience, especially with an event this recent.

The tank man is the most famous photo taken from Tiananmen Square, but that was actually taken on the morning after the protests, on 5th June.
There are several news archives of the Tiananmen Square protests as it happened, this one in particular (youtube.com/watch?v=Ea3LiY7aMVI) reports on the massacre that happened on 4th June.

I unironically want all Chinese people to die.

This.

somebody link him here

lets be real the world doesnt need another india tier """democracy"""

What fiction movie is this from?

>democratic
Americanized
No the world needs the opposite

Now this is cool material. Huge crowds of people, tanks, sounds of shots in the distance, some dead bodies carried to hospital, thats how i imagine army removing demonstration by force.

The world is not a unified entity, your opinion on what the world needs is irrelevant.
