Just a small note, I was wildly impressed at how developed Vietnam was. Wasn’t quite as high rise as Singapore obviously, but I thought its metropolitan areas were much cleaner and nicer than Thailand’s which I totally didn’t expect. Also, way way cheaper and overall more interesting stuff to check out than Singapore so overall it was my favorite place to visit in Southeast Asia.

Vietnam has more ordnung because of the communists. It’s objectively less developed than Thailand, especially Bangkok. But it’s probably cleaner in the lower income areas due to the aforementioned reasons
