How do Europeans manage to use these without feeling unsafe?
Most of you guys have cheap kettles (~$10) which means it is produced in a way that can break easily, which makes it a fire hazard.
Not only is it a fire hazard without water, but WITH water it can literally shock you if it breaks or malfunctions
Microwaving water is not only faster but much safer, there is really no argument to be made against it

anericans really do be like that
Microwaves and electric kettles are both subhuman-tier.
You're just mad that your weak-ass power mains can't power a simple fucking kettle.
How come Americans are so afraid of house fire ? Do they happen that often over the pond ?
How much do these buggers cost?
find me some examples of kettle related deaths
Their houses are made of extra-flammable cardboard, you see.
reported appliance fires don't ever specify what appliance caused it
>a fire hazard
Life is not a movie. Cars don't randomly explode and neither do electric kettles. The worst that could happen is the water spilling when one breaks and trust me even the cheapest ones don't.
My grandma has had the same cheap electric kettle for 10 years now and it still works.
Also,
>microwaving water
you fatasses don't stop amazing me.
Under fifty bucks and unlike an el*ctric kettle they will last literally forever.
Why don't people just use a coffee maker to boil water?
This is a meme. I have an electric kettle and it still boils water faster than a microwave or a gas stove. Not to mention, I can set it to a precise temperature for coffee and tee
is this a meme? water kettles heat water like 10x faster than a microwave
lmao what kind of small pussy microwave do you have that can't do the job in under 20 seconds?
my shit gets piping hot fast
>Microwaving water
Disgusting.
Microwaves are shit for heating water. The heat is always really poorly distributed, and the water superheats without actually boiling
Never have I heard a man who has been wrong about so many things
Do you wear a helmet when you sleep?
This is some big brain science
>tells me I'm wrong
>doesn't provide any arguments
That's the type of science you need to convince zealous Americans to stop microwaving their fucking water.
Bought my cheap ass kettle at Lidl for 20 Euro.
Working perfectly after 4-5 years, boils water fast as fuck. Much faster than my microwave.
it's not a meme
t. flyover
You are just wrong, no need for argument.
If you really think a kettle is unsafe maybe you should wrap yourself in cellophane and replace all your knives with butter knives
>the distilled water heated in the microwave resulted in a crystal similar to that created by the word "Satan"
Excuse me, what ?
I'm using this one. I can turn it on from my smartphone and warm to just right temperature. And leds changing according to water temperature, so no one will burn finger trying to touch it.
After this, boiling water in microwave is a barbaric thing to do.
No it's already hot enough, fuck off
That thing is fucking awesome. I need to buy one.

My kettle cost 10€ and it's built like a tank. Bit slow though.
You can even sync leds with your music, turn on permanent temperature so you don't need to warm water before every cup of tea. I think there are even developing games about memory and colors for kids.
Smartphone can boil water
Imagine what it can do to your brain
how can americans feel safe without THREE (3) pins?
Meh, grounded 2 plug masterrace here.
>mouth, ass, vagina
Balanced
>boil water
>pour water and coffee into french press
