It tastes fine. My family was poor trash and we did this growing up.

Taste is fine. Texture isn't as crispy.

well there is a special kind you can buy made for microwave cooking and it's pretty good I like it better since it is less fatty

laying the bacon flat and baking it in the oven at 350 degrees for 30ish minutes is god tier. it is crispy but disintgrates/melts as you chew it. fugg i want some now

You just lay them on a folded paper towel. It soaks up enough if the grease that it won't pop.
