This thread is for the discussion of the language, culture, travel, daily life, etc. of Japan. Let's tark at randam in Japanese and English. Take it easy!
Hi frens. I picked up this vinyl awhile back and I have no idea what its about. It's all spoken word Japanese shit but I haven't a clue what he's talking about. Any translation of the cover would be appreciated.
I do have a pic of the back cover if any one is interested in that as well.
how could you get such a thing It seems to be a disk that contains the rakugo(落語)by an old rakugo performer(落語家) who has already passed away Rakugo is a comic story telling played by a rakugo performer on the stage, and is one of the Japanese classical performing arts. At the bottom of the cover has a photo of the rakugo performer and the rakugo performer's name "林家正蔵". The upper part has the name of the subject played by the man, saying "年枝の怪談" and "宿屋の仇討" "落語特選"at the rightmost of the cover means "specially selected rakugos"
