When I was a kid I saw a trailer for an anime and I have no idea what it was. It was a giant monster slowly walking/rampaging through a bleak, depressing industrial looking city and the soundtrack was a woman singly sadly in I guess Japanese. I don't recall there being subtitles for the song either. Anyone have any idea what the fuck I'm talking about? I have no idea where I would have seen it.

Doku no piko
I wish I was a celebrity so I could ask on twitter or something and instantly have hundreds of thousands of people see. I'd have the answer within minutes.
Do you want me to post it on reddit for you or something, bro?
Go for it. Just copy and paste my OP comment.
Sounds kinda like 20th Century Boys, but I'm not sure if that was ever made into an anime.
iktf
What time did you see the trailer? 2000s?
We have an anime board
Its trash but its there
Yeah, Early 2000s.
OK, well I will remember to bump this thread until anyone finds it. If it takes too long then probably no one knows.
They made some really good live action movies, but no anime
Might be Bokurano but I am probably wrong.
What did the monster look like?
Reminds me of an anime I saw once but never knew the name of it. It was a movie I believe about people living in a flying fortress fighting robots in airplanes
Didn't mean to quote the Italian
Are you talking about Castle in the Sky?
...
Is it this?
>Time frame doesn't match up but maybe NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind?
Dodnt read lmao
No. The pilots were defending the last bastions of humanity against these robots or something like that
