Contrary to popular belief you can get guns here, you just need a valid reason. If you want a shotgun for clay pigeon shooting you can get one, if you want a rifle for deer hunting you can get one. Self defence isn't a reason though. Pistols were largely banned after the Dunblane School Massacre but legal in Northern Ireland.

well, you know what. Im a suburban wythoid who just got into hunting but has mostly spent their time shooting as target practice and action sports which are fun as fuck. Do I need a gun ? No , is having a gun and being a responsible gun own partaking in a past time thats actually more popular than hockey , taking the wife out doing clay pigeon, running a 2 gun or 3 gun match with friends, enjoying myself with my money and my property is my business. I strongly recommend everyone at least try clay pigeon at least once in their life. Its where I started , Hell its how I got my wife into shooting back when we were just dating.
