So goys

So goys,

I was looking at historical snapshots for 2017 and just watching certain cryptos and seeing where they are now.

The two that caught my attention mainly were XLM and EOS, which are now #5 and #6, but at one point where around the #30 range back in August - Sep '17.

So the people who accumulated a shitload of those are now fucking loaded (if they dumped their bags at peak bubble). I know XLM had a nice pop and got out from #30 to around #16 after they announced their IBM partnership. That's kind of helped move it forward to where it is now.

However for EOS, if you look at the chart, it dumped when it went live for a couple of months down to .50. The EOS chart back then looked like how a lot of shitcoin charts look like now (ICX, ADA, VEN, etc).

So for anyone who bought EOS back in Oct '17 then when it was

Not top 50 but

the tech was extremely good.
I shorted at 50c at the hope that the Iong ICO would push the price further down.
Got liquidated hard and lost 6k EOS.
Now I only have 1k EOS fuck...

And that is why I'm going to make butt loads of money with ICX, fren. Those that believe in the project and buy when "hope seems lost" are the ones that deserve the rewards.

The market is just being an immature little cry baby, lets see who will emerge victorious in a few years, then you all will dream that you would have bought at these prices.

Been an EOS fan since the beginning. The main reason it has the fastest blockchain and free transactions for dapps.

I held throught the 2nd price jump and didn't sell, beucase i tought the airdrops where going to be worth it. Not really it seems, so lost a ton.

Now i'm losing faith in EOS due to the RAM issues. And sold 80% of my stack, still at a profit though.

But what made me buy was that it actually seemed to have a use case. ETH games that where clogging up ETH could move to EOS with no problem. But due to the RAM issue that seems unlikely

Yeah I've seen this mentioned but let me look into it more.
Sorry fren
Why do you believe ICX will be the one that moon shots like EOS? It has been relentless dumped and they have had a plethora of bad news: contract bug, delays, tons of FUD, etc.
How will they get out of it and go on that massive run? I see the potential but it seems like everything is stacked AGAINST it

Whereas XLM or EOS didn't seem to have really bad "negative crypto press/sentiment" stacked against it if you know what I mean?

I see, nice. What coins are you looking at now that give you the same "feeling" that they will go on an EOS type run?

The RAM issue has largely been solved by them introducing a constant flow of new RAM to the system and encouraging staking (stakers will soon get the RAM trade fees as dividends). Prices are pretty much back to normal now. Also, once they introduce token renting network resource costs will be completely decoupled from the price of the EOS token, which is an extremely good way to get developers to hop on board.

Oh XLM get plenty of bad news too before IBM, they peaked hard in June 2017 and then poloniex crashing and airdrop to btc holders send them to oblivion, branding them as shitcoin and poorman XRP, until eventually IBM partnered with them.

Nobody can predict the future.

I actually read white papers

Dan Larimer is an autistic genius and I trusted him fully to take me to moon

Please elaborate on ram issues?

Think there is still space on the rocket? 5 dollars isnt such a bad entry point if its going to 1k.

Speculation drove the prices to unreasonable levels which fucked developers who actually needed it. See:

EOS is a shitcoin just like REQ or any of the others. It had the biggest ICO in history and is backed by huge movers in crypto, which is the reason it didn't die on it's ass already.
But Dan doesn't know what he's doing. The team is not competent. The BPs are a bunch of scammers.
It wont be around for the next bullrun.

As a developer what should I do? If i want to develop EOS dapp in the future, should I buy EOS tokens now to guarantee the resources or how does it work? Would 100 tokens be enough for dapp?

Nope. I do believe that the Ethereum ecosystem is the organisation in crypto that even approaches professionalism, so they will eventually solve the big problems (while everyone else exitscams). However they have a long year or more of scamtokens dumping their ICO funds to get through. Could see some great prices soon.

You'll have the option of owning your own resources permanently and taking on the investment risk, or just renting them on a monthly basis for a set price. It's the difference between buying a house and renting. Pros and cons, depending on what you're trying to do.

There are so much good news for ICX. So many partnerships, so much backing, hiring new people, etc.

These just the latest. It has block chain interoperability and DEX coming later, both which are the next step of crypto, and the future. They have like over a hundred employees working on the project(?), the backing is the biggest part.

Hell yeah im buying more under 4 or when the chart turns around

Ah that's right. I do remember that comparison of it to XRP (which of course given its history). What coins are you in?

So you're a developer and it looks like ICON just released their developer portal in beta

medium.com/helloiconworld/icon-developers-portal-beta-launch-41b34fda20a7

What is your opinion that? How will this compare to EOS or ETH?

Python is my main programming language and ICX supports it, so there is that. However, I think that ICX is more geared for bigger businesses and the like, and it is not very decentralized yet and it is going to have fees, so EOS looks better in this regard. I love the concept of EOS feeless contracts, so I would like to develop there given the chance.

ETH makes you learn a new programming language, that takes time. The smart contracts are too slow and expensive IMO, I'm not huge fan of ETH smart contracts any more, rather ETH based tokens are nice. By the looks of it something else is going to dominate, maybe that something else is EOS.

Gotcha. So since ETH and EOS have that developer community behind it, you are developer and are clearly bullish on ICX, yet you don't want to develop on it.

Isn't that problematic for getting that initial layer of people behind the project - in this case, the initial layer is the developers? If you don't want to and you're bullish, then who else is going to?

HOLO

Oh I will develop to ICX if I get paid by someone, and I don't count on that happening. The businesses hire developers to develop for them.

I see EOS being more like ETH where you develop crypto kitties and silly stuff. And again, ICX for business, that is different.

Buy UUU

Methhead spotted

All three of dans projects are the top 3 most used in terms of blockchain usage

U don’t know what the fuck your talking about

I bought 11,492 HOT coins, I feel so fucking rich.

Spam transactions don't count. But you already know that.
