Do American Schools really have active shooter drills?
Do American Schools really have active shooter drills?
Do american schools really not have locks on their classroom doors?
this is what i was thinking lel
+ there are many places in school were there are no doors at all with lots of people
Clearly too much of an extravagance to be afforded to ankle bitters
When I was in school, we had earthquake drills.
why not just a barrel lock?
much more secure
far more obvious and practical solution
If the handle is turned gravity is just going to make the wire slide down right off it
Has the invention of a doorlock not reached America yet?
Couldn't you just shoot it off or did I play too much vidya?
Shotguns are effectively purpose built breaching weapons, a typical handle lock isn't going to stop someone from getting in.
>Walk into hardware store
>"hello i'm looking for your anti-school shooter section" *tips*
>"right over here sir"
Americans really do
I think it's too short it wouldn't go all the way.
It's on the inside, though if the handle is shot off then you are right.
A stressed out shooter high on adrenaline is not an AI with perfect problem-solving abilities.
Yes, it's that cops use shotguns for.
If the shooter has a shotgun then the door is going down no matter what you do anyway, might aswell have a door with real locks in
I work for an american company, part of the training was what to do in an active shooter situation.
apparently you should:
>run
>hide
>try to stop the shooter
lmao
>be hardware store wageslave, paid minimum wage
>asked to come up with anti school shooting DIY locks
>they fail and kids get shot anyway
>get sued
Mine automatically locked on the inside so you had to knock every time you left the classroom
You could, but it would be better than nothing. Why even lock your door if a burglar can easily pick it?
what's lmao?
you should try to escape, if you can't escape then you hide, if you're discovered then you fight back
Aren’t shotguns the cheapest, easiest to get guns?
Not sure how it is internationally but shotguns are pretty damn cheap relatively in Canada.
>maverick
Yeah, in most of europe they can be owned without a license. Even here a shotgun license is just filling out some paperwork and a short visit.
A $100 door can be opened in 2 seconds with a corkscrew
A $1000 door will resist for 30 minutes
Same for shotgun
imagine having to send your child to school with a knife because youre afraid someone might get bullied too much
Not yet.
Does the brand really matter when we're talking about just blasting a knob off?
